Tool frame calibration has been widely used in robot-assisted printing, welding, and grinding, but it is not suitable for ultrasonic testing because the robot is submerged in water. The purpose of this paper is to present a tool frame calibration method, which is suitable for improving the precision of ultrasonic testing. In uniform mediums, sound travels along a straight line like ray. A reflector is fixed in water to reflect ultrasound, which makes it possible to measure distances between incidence points on a reflector and tool center point (TCP) on an ultrasound transducer. In addition, the positions and poses of the end flange are recorded through a robot controller. Finally, an optimization method is applied to calculate the position and pose errors of the tool frame relative to the end flange according to such records. The presented method was implemented in an ultrasonic testing system. We selected 100 incidence points on the reflector to calculate the assembly errors of the transducer. The pulse amplitude rose obviously after calibration, which verifies that this is an effective method. Considering that ultrasonic transducers can be used as a measuring tool, this paper proposes a tool frame calibration method for ultrasonic testing robots without introducing other measuring devices, which draws the conclusion that tool frame can be calibrated through ultrasound.

Qualitative-archival research is not just "preservation": it shows the potential of providing dynamic and interlinked information, including legal frameworks, policy documents, historical context, and original narratives, capable of supporting policies in the long term. Besides this, it is a potential tool to foster the agency of migrants. Morover, qualitative-archival research can be a powerful tool for social innovation, as conducting qualitative research, based on individual and collective narratives, is a necessary basis to non-emergency policies and to social work planning and evaluation.

While existing literature highlights the economic and professional gains of nurse migration, few studies explore how structured government-led export strategies could optimise these benefits. This study evaluates the accuracy of single camera markerless motion capture (SCMoCap) using Microsoft's Azure Kinect, enhanced with inverse kinematics (IK) via OpenSim, for upper limb movement analysis. Twelve healthy adults performed ten upper-limb tasks, recorded simultaneously by OptiTrack (marker-based) and Azure Kinect (markerless) from frontal and sagittal views. Joint angles were calculated using two methods: (1) direct kinematics based on body coordinate frames and (2) inverse kinematics using OpenSim's IK tool with anatomical keypoints.

Objective: This study aims to construct a multimodal radiomics model based on contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) radiomic features, combined with conventional ultrasonography (US) images and clinical data, to evaluate its diagnostic efficacy in differentiating benign and malignant thyroid nodules (TNs) classified as C-TIRADS 4, and to assess the clinical application value of the model.
Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 135 patients with C-TIRADS 4 thyroid nodules who underwent concurrent US and CEUS before FNA/surgery. From each case, one US image and three CEUS key frames (2s post-perfusion, peak enhancement, 2s post-peak) were selected.
