In this study, ZnFeO-Polyaniline (PANI), ZnFeO-Polystyrene (PST), and ZnFeO-Polypyrrole (Ppy) nanocomposites were synthesized by the adsorption method and characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. Batch adsorption experiments were conducted for removing two types of hazardous dyes Red X-GRL and Direct Sky Blue 51 from an aqueous solution and the effect of pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, and initial concentration of dyes were investigated. Meanwhile, kinetic, isotherm, and thermodynamic parameters were also determined. The electrolyte and surfactant effect was also tested for the prepared nanocomposites. To test the reusability desorption study was also conducted.

Unlabelled: The Media-Fill Test is a crucial procedure in the pharmaceutical industry, especially for the production of sterile drugs that do not undergo terminal sterilization (meaning they are prepared directly under aseptic conditions). The primary goal of the Media-Fill Test is to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the aseptic process in preventing microbial contamination. It doesn't serve to test the sterility of an individual production batch, but rather to: Validate the aseptic process, Qualify personnel, Identify critical points and Verify the environment.

Background: Migraine is associated with an increased cardiovascular risk, including hypertension. Anti-calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are effective preventive treatments, but concerns have been raised about their potential hypertensive effects. Herein, we assess the early changes in blood pressure (BP) during anti-CGRP mAbs treatment in patients with migraine using 24-h Holter monitoring.

The electrochemical reduction of CO to CH offers a promising pathway for renewable energy storage, yet remains limited by sluggish kinetics, poor catalyst stability, and competing hydrogen evolution reactions (HER). Herein, a host-guest strategy is reported for engineering metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) through the encapsulation of conductive polymers to stabilize reticular skeletons and regulate interfacial water for efficient CO-to-CH conversion. Specifically, polypyrrole (PPy) and polyaniline (PANI) are confined within Cu-anchored UiO-67 frameworks, resulting in hybrid catalysts-PPy@Cu-UiO-67 and PANI@Cu-UiO-67-with preserved crystallinity and enhanced electronic conductivity.

The development of planar on-chip micro-batteries with high-capacity electrodes and environmentally friendly and stable architectures is critical for powering the next generation of miniaturized system-on-chip smart devices. However, realizing highly stable micro-batteries remains a major challenge due to complex fabrication processes, electrode degradation during cycling, and the uncontrolled growth of dendrites in metal-based anodes within the confined spaces between electrodes. To address these issues, this study presents an approach that incorporates a 3D porous nickel (Ni) scaffold at the metal anode, offering improved micro-anode stability compared to conventional planar zinc and 3D porous zinc (Zn) scaffolds.

Aqueous zinc metal batteries (AZMBs) are promising candidates for renewable energy storage, yet their practical deployment in subzero environments remains challenging due to electrolyte freezing and dendritic growth. Although organic additives can enhance the antifreeze properties of electrolytes, their weak polarity diminishes ionic conductivity, and their flammability poses safety concerns, undermining the inherent advantages of aqueous systems. Herein, we present a cost-effective and highly stable NaSO additive introduced into a Zn(ClO)-based electrolyte to create an organic-free antifreeze electrolyte.
