It doesn't serve to test the sterility of an individual production batch, but rather to: Validate the aseptic process, Qualify personnel, Identify critical points and Verify the environment.

Optimizing timing and dose of exogenous melatonin administration in neuropsychiatric pediatric populations: a meta-analysis on sleep outcomes.

Melatonin is known to be effective in improving sleep in pediatric patients affected by neurological and psychiatric conditions. However, no guidelines exist advising the most effective treatment schedule. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to identify the dose, time of administration and treatment duration associated with the maximal treatment efficacy.

Prevalence of parasitism in fecal samples from maned wolves (Chrysocyon brachyurus) and domestic dogs in the region of Serra da Canastra National Park, MG.

The Serra da Canastra National Park is a Conservation Unit where domestic dogs live near populations of maned wolves (Chrysocyon brachyurus). Recognizing the importance of parasitic diseases in endangered species such as the maned wolf, our research objective was to identify and determine the prevalence of parasites in fresh fecal samples collected in January and July 2021 from both canids that inhabit the region. The dog feces were collected after the administration of a 5% glycerin enema and evacuation, while the maned wolf feces was collected along the park's roads.

Mid-term outcomes of endovascular treatment for internal carotid artery dissection.

Background: This study aims to assess the feasibility and safety of endovascular treatment of spontaneous internal carotid artery dissections (ICAD) using a proximal embolic protection device (EPD).

Methods: From January 2012 to December 2023 all consecutive patients admitted for ICAD who underwent carotid artery stenting using MoMa Ultra (Medtronic, Minneapolis, MN, USA) proximal EPD were included in this single-center study and were retrospectively analyzed. The presence of neurological symptoms was the only indication for treatment.
