This descriptive article explores the use of smart devices for health and wellness in the context of telehealth, highlighting rapidly evolving technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Key innovations, benefits, challenges, and opportunities related to the adoption of these technologies are outlined. The article provides a descriptive and accessible approach to understanding the evolution and impact of smart devices in the tele-exercise reality. Nowadays, technological advances provide solutions that were unthinkable just a few years ago. The habits of the general population have also changed over the past few years. Hence, there is a need to investigate this issue and draw the attention of the scientific community to this topic by describing the benefits and challenges associated with each topic. If individuals no longer go to exercise, the exercise must go to their homes instead.

Sectionally nonlinearly functionally graded (SNFG) structures with triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) are considered ideal for bone implants because they closely replicate the hierarchical, anisotropic, and porous architecture of natural bone. The smooth gradient in material distribution allows for optimal load transfer, reduced stress shielding, and enhanced bone ingrowth, while TPMS provides high mechanical strength-to-weight ratio and interconnected porosity for vascularization and tissue integration. Wherein, The SNFG structure contains sections with thickness that varies nonlinearly along their length in different patterns.

Modulating the electronic structure of catalysts to maximize their power holds the key to address the challenges faced by zinc-iodine batteries (ZIBs), including the shuttle effect and slow redox kinetics at the iodine cathode. Herein, oxygen vacancies is innovatively introduced into CoO lattice to create high-spin-state Co active sites in nonstoichiometric CoO nanocrystals supported by carbon nanofibers (H-CoO/CNFs). This simple strategy intensifies crystal field splitting of Co 3d orbitals, optimizing the spin-orbital coupling between Co 3d orbitals and iodine species.

The high sensitivity and wide linearity are crucial for flexible tactile sensors in adapting to diverse application scenarios with high accuracy and reliability. However, conventional optimization strategies of constructing microstructures suffer from the mutual restriction between the high sensitivity and wide linearity. Herein, a novel design of localized gradient conductivity (LGC) with partly covered low-conductivity (low-σ) carbon/Polydimethylsiloxane layer on high-conductivity (high-σ) silver nanowires film upon the micro-dome structure is proposed.

The 180° switching of the perpendicular Néel vector induced by the spin-orbit torque (SOT) presents significant potential for ultradense and ultrafast antiferromagnetic SOT-magnetoresistive random-access memory. However, its experimental realization remains a topic of intense debate. Here, unequivocal evidence is provided for the SOT-induced 180° switching of the perpendicular Néel vector in collinear antiferromagnetic CrO in a Pt/CrO/Co trilayer structure.

Microalgae and their rich nutrient content are increasingly recognized as a sustainable food source. Microalgal macular pigment (MP), composed of zeaxanthin and lutein, is densely concentrated in the retinal macula of eyes and is frequently utilized in eye health maintenance. However, as a sustainable food ingredient, the food safety and functionality of MP need further investigated.
