Article Abstract

Background: Extranodal natural killer/ T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL) is a rare malignant tumor. This study aimed to develop a predictive nomogram and a web-based survival rate calculator for dynamically predicting the survival of patients with sinonasal ENKTL (SN-ENKTL).

Methods: This study investigated patients (n = 134) with SN-ENKTL who had been initially treated in our hospital between Jan 2008 and Dec 2016. The patients were randomly divided into training and validation cohorts, in a 7:3 ratio. Independent prognostic factors were identified and integrated to build a predictive nomogram and a web-based calculator using the Cox-regression model. The nomogram was evaluated by consistency index and calibration curve.

Results: Age, lactate dehydrogenase, hemoglobin, Epstein-Barr virus DNA, and Ann Arbor stage were identified as independent risk factors. We constructed a predictive nomogram for survival and a web-based calculator (https://taiqinwang.shinyapps.io/DynNomapp/).

Conclusion: This study developed a prognostic model and a web-based calculator specifically focused on SN-ENKTL for otolaryngologists to use to facilitate timely treatment decisions for the disease.

Background: Sarcopenia is a prevalent but underrecognized complication in elderly patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Its complex etiology limits early diagnosis and intervention. This study developed and internally validated a nomogram for individualized sarcopenia risk assessment in this population.

Background: Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is characterized by high incidence, sudden onset, and often poor prognosis. Carotid atherosclerosis plays a crucial role in its pathogenesis, and ultrasound imaging offers a non-invasive method for evaluating carotid plaque characteristics. This study aimed to develop and validate a prediction model for AIS risk based on a novel ultrasound-based carotid plaque scoring system combined with clinical risk factors.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MRI in prostate cancer (PC) with biochemical recurrence (BCR) after radical prostatectomy (RP). It was also aimed to develop a nomogram to predict PET/MRI positivity.

Methods: The data of 140 PC patients who underwent Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MRI for BCR after RP were retrospectively analyzed.

Rationale And Objectives: To develop deep learning-based multiomics models for predicting postoperative distant metastasis (DM) and evaluating survival prognosis in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 521 CRC patients who underwent curative surgery at two centers. Preoperative CT and postoperative hematoxylin-eosin (HE) stained slides were collected.

Background: Endovascular treatment (EVT) of vertebrobasilar dissecting aneurysms (VBDAs) is associated with high morbidity and mortality, significantly influencing patient prognosis. This study aimed to develop and validate a nomogram for predicting 30-day outcomes in patients with unruptured VBDAs undergoing EVT.

Methods: This retrospective study included 606 patients with unruptured VBDAs who underwent EVT at 10 institutions between January 2015 and April 2025, with 491 in the training cohort and 115 in the validation cohort.
