Introduction: Acute appendicitis is one of the most common causes of abdominal pain in children and is considered the most frequent paediatric surgical emergency. The incidence progresses from extremely low in the neonatal period to a peak incidence between ages 12 and 18 years. Prompt diagnosis and management are imperative to prevent serious complications such as perforation, peritonitis, intra-abdominal abscess formation and bowel obstruction.

Alimentary tract duplications, or enterocystomas, are relatively uncommon developmental anomalies that can occur anywhere from the mouth to the anus. Introduction And Importance: Intussusception in neonates is extremely rare, especially in full-term newborns. Even rarer is the occurrence of Meckel's diverticulum (MD) acting as a lead point within the first 24 h of life. Prompt recognition is critical as delays can lead to bowel perforation and life-threatening complications.

Background: The standard method for diagnosing Meckel diverticulum and identifying ectopic gastric mucosa is Tc-pertechnetate imaging. Premedication with H receptor antagonists enhances the scan's sensitivity by reducing the washout of Tc-pertechnetate activity from the intestinal lumen.

Objective: After the withdrawal of ranitidine, we compared the efficacy of the proton pump inhibitor pantoprazole as an alternative premedication agent for Tc-pertechnetate Meckel diverticulum imaging.

Background: Meckel's diverticulum (MD) is the most common congenital anomaly of the small intestine, and often leads to various complications in children. This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) and conventional laparoscopic surgery (CLS) in the treatment of MD in children.

Methods: Retrospective review of patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for MD at a tertiary pediatric hospital from February 2017 to February 2023 was conducted with registered of demographic information, preoperative laboratory results, operative findings, and postoperative outcomes.
