Hemispherical image sensors simplify lens designs, reduce optical aberrations, and improve image resolution for compact wide-field-of-view cameras. To achieve hemispherical image sensors, organic materials are promising candidates due to the following advantages: tunability of optoelectronic/spectral response and low-temperature low-cost processes. Here, a photolithographic process is developed to prepare a hemispherical image sensor array using organic thin film photomemory transistors with a density of 308 pixels per square centimeter. This design includes only one photomemory transistor as a single active pixel, in contrast to the conventional pixel architecture, consisting of select/readout/reset transistors and a photodiode. The organic photomemory transistor, comprising light-sensitive organic semiconductor and charge-trapping dielectric, is able to achieve a linear photoresponse (light intensity range, from 1 to 50 W m ), along with a responsivity as high as 1.6 A W (wavelength = 465 nm) for a dark current of 0.24 A m (drain voltage = -1.5 V). These observed values represent the best responsivity for similar dark currents among all the reported hemispherical image sensor arrays to date. A transfer method was further developed that does not damage organic materials for hemispherical organic photomemory transistor arrays. These developed techniques are scalable and are amenable for other high-resolution 3D organic semiconductor devices.

In Tl myocardial perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), gastric wall uptake can impact the inferior wall. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and usefulness of the masking on un-smoothed image (MUS) method for Tl myocardial perfusion SPECT. A hemispherical gastric wall phantom was created to simulate the gastric fundus located closest to the myocardium, and the activity was enclosed to achieve an SPECT count ratio against the myocardium equivalent to that observed in clinical practice.

Molybdenum disulfide (MoS) has recently emerged as a promising material for the development of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) owing to its inherently negative triboelectric properties when paired with polymeric layers, along with its notable transparency and mechanical flexibility. However, MoS-based TENGs operating in the contact-separation mode encounter critical limitations, including mechanical wear and limited triboelectric performance, particularly within the constraints of conventional 2D geometries. This paper reports the novel one-step laser-assisted synthesis of hemispherical MoS through the controlled nucleation and growth of MoS precursor seeds.

Motor imagery (MI) is a cognitive process that allows individuals to mentally simulate movements without physical executio n. However, the exploration of functional connectivity (FC) and lateralization mechanisms under different MI actions remains insufficiently understood. In this work, the common orthogonal basis extraction (COBE) algorithm was employed to isolate action-specific components by removing shared background components from the raw FC of the MI process.

Objectives: To evaluate the reliability and accuracy of a portable structured light-based three-dimensional (3D) imaging system for volumetric measurement in the periorbital region.
Methods: Five hemispherical 3D printed resin models with different sizes and colors, including the flesh-colored models with 6 (Model 1), 4 (Model 2), and 2 (Model 3) mm in diameter, and the black (Model 4) and gray (Model 5) models with 6 mm in diameter, were affixed to the lower eyelid or upper eyelid of 40 volunteers. One researcher used the portable 3D imaging system to collect the 3D images and two raters measured the volume of the models on images.
