The glabrous-enhancer-binding protein (GeBP) family is a family of plant-specific transcription factors, whose members share a central DNA-binding domain. Previous studies have already proven that genes are involved in the control of cell expansion but not cell proliferation in . However, there has not yet been a versatile analysis of the genes' function in soybean ( L.). Here, we identified and named 9 genes in the soybean genome. These genes were distributed on 7 of the 20 chromosomes and the intron numbers ranged from zero to one. According to the phylogenetic tree, 52 genes obtained from four plant species were clustered into major four groups. Through the RNA-seq analysis of the nine genes, 8 of 9 genes were be found to expressed differentially across the 14 tissues. Additionally, among nine genes, only were highly expressed in abnormal trichome soybeans, which was predicted to be involved in trichome development. This genome-wide analysis of genes helps to provide an overview of the evolution and functions of two kinds of soybean plants. These results will help to clarify the potential functions and characteristics of genes in the soybean life cycle.

This study evaluated the effects of dietary recovered frying soybean oil (RFSBO) and selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) on growth performance, hepatic metabolism, intestinal morphology, and the expression of antioxidant, immune, and growth-related genes in juvenile Asian sea bass (Lates calcarifer, 41.5 ± 0.1 g) reared under high temperature (32-33 °C) and high salinity (38-40 ppt).

Shade stress alters soybean growth through transcriptomic changes and adaptive responses that optimize light capture and utilization, regulated by a phytohormonal network. This study examined the physiological, morphological, and molecular responses of Guru (shade-tolerant) and Heinong 53 (shade-sensitive) soybean cultivars under 0% (control), 30%, and 70% shade. Results revealed morphological responses where Heinong 53 exhibited greater plant height (52.

Background And Aims: Cell wall invertases have multiple roles in plant growth and development, yet their biological functions in seed oil production are still not understood.
Methods: In the present study, the Oryza sativa (rice) cell wall invertase gene OsGIF1 (GRAIN INCOMPLETE FILLING 1) was ectopically expressed in Glycine max (Soybean) and its functions in grain yield and seed nutrition was investigated.
Key Results: We found that constitutive expression of OsGIF1 significantly improved biomass production, grain yield and seed nutrition in transgenic plants.

DREB7 in (L) is a novel trans-acting transcription factor (TF) that binds to the -acting sequences of promoters to activate the expression of downstream genes in response to abiotic factors. This study presents the experimental results and analyzes the relationship between the overexpression of the and , as well as the proline content, in transgenic soybean lines. The results of qRT-PCR analysis of four TG1 transgenic soybean lines (TG1-2, TG1-5, TG1-7, and TG1-10) showed that the gene had significantly higher transcriptional expression under untreated and salt stress conditions.

Nanoplastics (NPs) have raised increasing attention due to their potential environmental risks to terrestrial vegetation and food security. However, for the plants with various photosynthetic pathways, the differences in their photosynthetic response and related mechanisms upon NPs exposure are still unclear. Here, the photosynthetic responses of typical soybean and corn plants under polystyrene NPs (PSNPs) exposure were systematically compared for the first time.
