Statement Of Problem: The reproducibility of positioning the maxillary occlusal plane in an articulator with a facebow remains debated. Its clinical use is widespread, yet its reliability and clinical outcomes compared to other transfer methods under standardized conditions remain uncertain.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the intra-operator reproducibility of maxillary positioning on an articulator using a facebow compared to a standardized transfer table.

Objective This retrospective study aims to evaluate the functional and visual outcomes of patients undergoing orbital floor fracture repair using titanium mesh implants. Methods Medical records of patients treated over four years for isolated or combined orbital floor fractures using titanium mesh were reviewed. Clinical outcomes assessed included diplopia, enophthalmos, ocular motility, and visual acuity, both pre- and postoperatively.

Accurate segmentation of malocclusion is crucial in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, but existing deep learning methods seriously affect the reliability of clinical applications due to poor robustness and feature confusion between neighboring tooth classes when dealing with malocclusion. To address this problem, a U-shaped 3D dental model segmentation method based on hierarchical feature guidance is proposed. First, a feature-guided deep encoder architecture is constructed, which introduces a normalization method that combines the local mean with the global standard deviation.

Introduction: This in vitro study aimed to evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) and adhesive remnant index (ARI) of 3-dimensional-printed orthodontic brackets with 3 different base designs and to examine the surface morphologic differences of remaining adhesives using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
Methods: Sixty maxillary premolar teeth (n = 20 per group) were randomly allocated into 3 bracket base design groups: (1) custom, (2) macroretentive, and (3) standard. After digital scanning of the teeth, the brackets were printed using a MAX UV DLP 3D printer (Asiga, Sydney, Australia).

Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is the most common paediatric orbital malignancy, accounting for about 10% of orbital tumours. Reported survival varies widely, ranging from as low as 10% with unimodal treatment to over 70% with multimodal therapy. Data from Africa remain sparse, with studies showing wide variations in methodology and treatment protocols.
