Myoepithelial carcinoma (MECA) is a malignant neoplasm composed exclusively of myoepithelial cells and accounts for less than 1% of all salivary gland tumors. Its diagnosis is often challenging due to histologic overlaps with benign lesions and its variable morphologic presentation. Although molecular profiling has emerged as a valuable tool in salivary gland tumor classification, the genetic landscape of MECA remains incompletely defined.

Introduction: The advent of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) has changed infection by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from an acute disease to a manageable chronic condition; however, pulmonary complications continue to affect patient quality of life. The goal of this research was to examine the link between CD4+ levels, viral load, and respiratory function in patients infected with HIV.
Methods: Patients were grouped as HIV-infected and non-infected (1:2 ratio).

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Baicalin, an extract derived from the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (Huang Qin), has demonstrated neuroprotective properties. Nonetheless, the safety profile of baicalin has not yet been fully elucidated.
Aim Of The Study: The objective was to characterize the acute and subacute toxicity profiles of baicalin across various organ systems, thereby establishing safe therapeutic windows for its clinical application in the treatment of chronic neurodegenerative disorders.

Introduction: Autoimmune uveitis is a sight-threatening inflammatory eye disease driven by immune dysregulation. We previously introduced a therapeutic strategy involving the induction of retinal-antigen-specific regulatory T cells (Tregs) via αCD4 antibody injection followed by administration of the retinal self-peptide IRBP1-20, which effectively suppresses inflammation during the onset of experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU).
Methods: We evaluated the long-term therapeutic efficacy of this approach in a chronic EAU model.
