Background: Post-viral syndromes, including long- and post-COVID, often lead to persistent symptoms such as fatigue and dyspnoea, affecting patients' daily lives and ability to work. The COVI-Care M-V trial examines whether interprofessional, patient-centred teleconsultations, initiated by general practitioners in cooperation with specialists, can help reduce symptom burden and improve care for patients.

Methods: To evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention under routine care conditions, a cluster-randomised controlled trial is being conducted.

Beyond the screen: exploring digital health experiences of individuals affected by psoriasis - a qualitative interview study.

BMC Public Health

September 2025

Department of Dermatology and Allergy, TUM School of Medicine and Health, Technical University of Munich, Biedersteiner Str. 29, 80802, Munich, Germany.

Background: Psoriasis, a chronic inflammatory skin disorder, imposes a high burden on those affected, often leading to stigma and increased depression risk. With the increasing importance of digital media in medical contexts, there is a notable prevalence of misinformation and low-quality content. This study aims to explore the experiences of individuals affected by psoriasis regarding their disease-related digital media use.

The global surge in the population of people 60 years and older, including that in China, challenges healthcare systems with rising age-related diseases. To address this demographic change, the Aging Biomarker Consortium (ABC) has launched the X-Age Project to develop a comprehensive aging evaluation system tailored to the Chinese population. Our goal is to identify robust biomarkers and construct composite aging clocks that capture biological age, defined as an individual's physiological and molecular state, across diverse Chinese cohorts.

Objective data-driven insights into pedestrian decisions, comprehensibility, and perceived safety of autonomous vehicles with varied eHMIs: Evidence from a real-world experiment.

September 2025

Department of Traffic Engineering and Key Laboratory of Road and Traffic Engineering Ministry of Education, Tongji University, Shanghai 201804, China. Electronic address:

In future traffic environments dominated by highly autonomous vehicles (AVs), pedestrians may face challenges in accurately interpreting AV behavior, thereby potentially increasing the risk of pedestrian-AV interactions. External human-machine interfaces (eHMIs) have been proposed to facilitate communication between AVs and pedestrians; however, comprehensive evaluations using objective data from real-world interactions are limited. This study developed a systematic evaluation framework grounded in the ISO 9241-11 standard, integrating four key indicators: decision accuracy, comprehensibility, decision efficiency, and perceived safety.

Background And Purpose: Siblings of children with chronic health conditions face unique psychosocial challenges, yet their voices remain underrepresented in research. While existing studies primarily rely only on parental proxy reports of sibling well-being or focus on experiences of older siblings or are confined to specific conditions like cancer, there is limited understanding of siblings' experiences more broadly from their voice. This study investigated the experiences of siblings of children with chronic health conditions in Australia from both sibling and parental perspectives.
