Objectives: To explore the relationship between socioeconomic and health-related changes during the COVID-19 lockdown and sleep quality.
Methods: A panel study was conducted with 667 participants from the Argentine Social Debt Survey in 2019 (pre lockdown), 2020 (during lockdown), and 2021 (post lockdown). Generalized linear mixed-effects models were performed to explore the following predictors of self-reported sleep quality over time: age, educational level, living in poverty, employment status, place of residence, psychological distress, and health status.
Purpose: Patients present with sexual and reproductive health needs in various clinical settings, so knowing when and how to elicit a relevant sexual history is critical in any specialty. This work examined whether reinforcing the surgical relevance of sexual health with an integrated training improved third-year medical students' sexual history-taking.
Method: Third-year surgery clerkship standardized patient assessments were video coded from a 2021-2022 comparison and 2022-2023 intervention cohort (University of Louisville School of Medicine).

This study uses blood routine, coagulation and biochemical indicators to explore the relationship between the hematological parameters of patients with various types of liver diseases. The Kruskal-Wallis, Chi-squared and Fisher exact tests were used to compare the hematological parameters and clinical characteristics of three groups of patients with different degrees of liver disease. Spearman correlation analysis is used to analyze the correlation between two continuous variables.

Objectives: To validate and update the 2013 James Lind Alliance (JLA) Sight Loss and Vision Priority Setting Partnership (PSP)'s research priorities for Ophthalmology, as part of the UK Clinical Eye Research Strategy.
Methods: Twelve ophthalmology research themes were identified from the JLA report. They were allocated to five Clinical Study Groups of diverse stakeholders who reviewed the top 10 research priorities for each theme.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a refocus of health care resources to acute care which has impacted on the capacity of healthcare systems to conduct neurological surgeries. The elderly population has been shown to be particularly vulnerable to the consequences of the pandemic. Less neurosurgery can result in great impact on public health by increasing morbidity and mortality in patients with malignancies and traumatic injuries.
