The hydrogels of the polyelectrolytes polyethylenimine and poly(acrylic acid) are used to form a thin-layer interface on the gallium-indium eutectic alloy's surface. The proposed method of gradually increasing the applied voltage reveals the possibility of formation of electronic components: diode, capacitor, resistor, and memristor. The components can be changed to each other many times. A multilayer perceptron model with one hidden layer and 12 nodes allows identifying hydrogels' composition and automatically setting the desired architecture of electronic components. The design of electronic components makes it possible to easy-to-produce new electronic parts and programmable soft-matter electronics.

The donor/acceptor (D/A) interfaces in bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic solar cells (OSCs) critically govern exciton dissociation and molecular diffusion, determining both efficiency and stability. Herein, we design a double-cable conjugated polymer, SC-1F, to insert into a physically-blended D/A system to optimize the interface. We have found that SC-1F spontaneously segregates to the interface through favorable miscibility and heterogeneous nucleation with the acceptor.

Brain aging is a major risk factor for cognitive decline and neurodegenerative diseases, driven by synaptic loss, reduced synaptic function, and inflammation. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying these dysfunctions remain unclear. Here, we conducted comparative transcriptomic analyses of brain regions (cortex and hippocampus) and kidney tissues, a peripheral organ with documented age-related dysfunction.

Background: Mogamulizumab is more effective in treating the blood component of mycosis fungoides (MF) and Sezary syndrome (SS), though some patients also experience significant skin improvement. The characteristics distinguishing those with a favorable skin response remain unclear.
Objectives: This study aimed to characterize MF/SS patients achieving skin response on mogamulizumab.
Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Heart failure (HF), the terminal stage of various cardiovascular diseases, represents a significant threat to global health. Fuxin Decoction (FXD), a classical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula, has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy in HF treatment. However, its bioactive components and precise mechanisms remain to be elucidated.

Background: Although aggressive low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) reduction has demonstrated significant cardiovascular benefits, concerns have emerged regarding potential adverse effects of very low LDL-C on cellular functions, particularly membrane integrity as cholesterol constitutes an essential component of cellular membranes. The phase angle (PhA), derived from bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) reflects cellular membranes integrity and nutritional status. The MALIPID study aimed to assess if LDL-C levels are associated with PhA in high cardiovascular risk patients.
