Aim: The aim of this study is to compare the canal cleaning ability of S-One file (AF BLUE) system with WaveOne Gold single file system, using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
Materials And Methods: In the present study, 40 freshly extracted permanent mandibular premolars with a single-root canal and straight roots were selected. The teeth were randomly divided into three groups. The canals were prepared by crown-down technique. Buccolingual sectioning of the samples were done followed by SEM evaluation. Data were statistically analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis test. The statistical significance level was set at value <0.05.
Results: The analysis of the results demonstrated that WaveOne presented higher cleaning capacity of root canals with a statistically significant difference, when compared to S-One file system ( value < 0.05). Both the file systems showed significant cleaning efficacy in the coronal and middle-thirds of the root canals when compared to the apical thirds. Also, the WaveOne showed better results than S-One (AF BLUE), and the results were statistically significant.
Conclusion: With the limitation of the study, the cleaning ability of rotary file system is high in coronal and middle-third followed by apical third. In this study, the WaveOne showed better results than S-One (AF BLUE), and the results were statistically significant.
Clinical Significance: The aggressive cutting of dentin during canal preparation is less in WaveOne file than S-One file system. The cleaning efficiency is good in reciprocating file system (WaveOne) than continuous rotary file system (S-One).

Cadmium (Cd) contamination in water poses a critical global challenge. A novel nanocomposite, montmorillonite (Mt)-supported nanoscale zero-valent iron (Mt-nZVI), synthesized by liquid phase reduction, offers a promising method for effectively removing Cd. The material underwent characterization through various techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM).

High-density mirror twin boundaries (MTBs) embedded in two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) have emerged as fascinating platforms for exploring charge density wave and Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid-related issues. However, the reversible manipulation of high-density MTBs in 2D TMDCs remains challenging. Herein, we report the first fabrication of high-density MTB loops in ultrathin 1T-NiTe on the SrTiO(001) substrate, by postannealing as-grown 1T-NiTe under Te-deficient conditions.

In the search for novel succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHIs) fungicides for managing rice sheath blight (RSB) and sclerotinia stem rot (SSR), 28 pyrazole-4-carboxamides incorporating stilbene or diphenylacetylene scaffolds were synthesized and evaluated for antifungal activities. The results showed that compound exhibited the most promising antifungal efficacy against and with EC (half maximal effective concentration) values of 0.004 and 0.

Since the erection of the genus, with Flapocephalus trygonis Deshmukh, 1979, as the type species, and the description of a second species, Flapocephalus saurashtri Shinde and Deshmukh, 1979, both from Pastinachus sephen (Fabricius) from India, reports of this genus have been restricted mainly to brief mentions or discussion of its validity and taxonomic placement. More recently, phylogenetic analyses based on molecular sequence data that included specimens of Flapocephalus have supported Flapocephalus as a distinct genus allied with the Polypocephalidae Meggitt, 1924.

In this study, a novel bleaching method for ramie cellulose fibers with low oxidative damage was developed by utilizing the properties of sodium percarbonate contained in tea saponin, which slowly releases hydrogen peroxide in the catalytic oxidation system of N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI). First, the bleaching process was optimized using response surface design, followed by comparison and characterization of fiber properties prepared under different bleaching systems. Finally, the energy consumption, water consumption, and toxicity of the NHPI/tea saponin system were evaluated.
