Nuclear protein in testis (NUT) carcinoma (NUT-C) is an exceedingly rare and aggressive squamous tumor characterized by an acquired rearrangement of the NUT gene involving the NUTM1 (Nut midline carcinoma, family member 1, NUT) gene encoding the nuclear protein of the testis on 15q14. As a rare tumor, there is little information available on the clinicopathologic and molecular cytogenetic findings of NMC. We herein reported a case of a 69-year-old man diagnosed with lung NMC involving the rearrangement of chromosomal region 15q14 harboring the NUTM1 gene. It was exceptionally rare for the patient's involving of the lung but having the chance to be totally resected. After radical surgery, the patient accepted further four cycles of chemotherapy and remains disease-free after 10 months. The immunohistochemical staining of PDL1 was negative and next-generation sequencing technology identified genomic alterations in discoidin domain receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (DDR2), cyclin D1 (CCND1), B-cell leukemia/lymphoma 1 (BCL1), colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R), runt related transcription factor 1 (RUNX1) and death domain-associated protein 6 (DAXX6) from the paraffin-embedded tissue. This case will contribute to not only a better understanding of the molecular mechanism of the primary pulmonary NUT carcinomas but also the potential therapeutic option for the patient.

Our research aims to ascertain the value of precursor and outgrowth lepidic in aiding the confirmation of multiple lung adenocarcinomas as separate primary lung cancers (SPLC). A total of 151 patients with metachronous multiple invasive adenocarcinomas were included in this study. Driver mutation tests(at least five genes: EGFR, ALK, KRAS, BRAF, and ROS1) were conducted on 302 tumors collected from 151 patients.

Rationale: There are insufficient data to inform the management of central sleep apnea (CSA) in patients with heart failure (HF) with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Nocturnal oxygen therapy (NOT) has been postulated to benefit CSA patients with HFrEF, but has not been rigorously studied. Objective: To describe the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of individuals exposed to smoking or biomass smoke and followed at primary health care (PHC) centers across three states in Brazil.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional multicenter study including patients followed at any of four PHC centers in Brazil. Patients ≥ 35 years of age who were smokers or former smokers, or were exposed to biomass smoke were included, the exception being those with physical/mental disabilities and those who were pregnant.

Peritoneal carcinomatosis represents an exceptionally rare metastatic pattern of cutaneous malignant melanoma, occurring in fewer than 1% of cases with distant spread and typically within the first few years after primary treatment. This report presents an unusual case with a markedly prolonged disease-free interval, clinically mimicking advanced ovarian carcinoma. We report the case of a 53-year-old woman treated more than 10 years ago for stage IIB nodular melanoma with surgery and adjuvant therapy.

Nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with SMARCA4 deficiency represents a rare subset of lung tumors characterized by early metastasis, poor response to chemotherapy, and unfavorable prognosis. Established therapy strategies for SMARCA4-deficient NSCLC remain elusive. While immune checkpoint inhibitors have been proposed as a potential solution, their efficacy remains uncertain.
