Article Abstract

A new class of sky-blue- to green-emitting carbazolylgold(III) C^C^N complexes containing pyrazole or benzimidazole moieties has been successfully designed and synthesized. Through the judicious choice of the N-heterocycles in the cyclometalating ligand and the tailor-made carbazole moieties, maximum photoluminescence quantum yields of 0.52 and 0.39 have been realized in the green- and sky-blue-emitting complexes, respectively. Solution-processed and vacuum-deposited organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) based on the benzimidazole-containing complexes have been prepared. The sky-blue-emitting device shows an emission peaking at 484 nm with a narrow full-width at half-maximum of 57 nm (2244 cm ), demonstrating the potential of this class of complexes in the application of OLEDs with high color purity. In addition, high maximum external quantum efficiencies of 12.3 % and a long operational half-lifetime of over 5300 h at 100 cd m have been achieved in the vacuum-deposited green-emitting devices.

Specific protein detection plays a crucial role in biological analysis and clinical diagnostics, serving as an essential tool for disease diagnosis, therapeutic monitoring, and biological research. However, conventional methods such as immunofixation electrophoresis (IFE) and western blotting (WB) suffer from complex workflows, time-consuming operations, and limited quantification capabilities owing to intricate staining and de-staining procedures. In addition, these traditional immunological detection methods require extensive manual handling and specialized expertise, while low levels of automation restrict their applicability to high-throughput or large-scale analysis scenarios.

Hydroazidation of alkenes provides a direct entry to alkyl azides, which are prevalent structural motifs in medicine development and chemical biology probes. While direct access to anti-Markovnikov hydroazidation products has seen recent progress, these protocols are restricted to highly oxidative hypervalent iodine reagents or superstoichiometric metal salts under photochemical conditions with moderate olefin generality. Thus, the development of a mild, catalytic, redox-neutral hydroazidation with high anti-Markovnikov regioselectivity compatible with diverse classes of alkene remains challenging.

Background:   is a major human pathogen, with methicillin-resistant (MRSA) posing a significant challenge due to its resistance to multiple antibiotics. Vancomycin remains the drug of choice for MRSA infections; however, resistance mechanisms such as vancomycin-intermediate (VISA) and heteroresistant VISA (hVISA) have emerged, leading to treatment failures. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of hVISA among clinical isolates and compare the efficacy of different screening methods.

The incidence of relapsed Philadelphia chromosome-negative acute lymphoblastic leukemia in adults is estimated to be 40%-50%. Allogeneic stem cell transplantation can improve survival in relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukemia; however, impaired pulmonary function is detrimental for surviving the transplantation process. Here, we present a successful case of allogeneic transplantation for relapsed B-acute lymphoblastic leukemia after total resection of the left lung due to angioinvasive pulmonary mucormycosis.

Background: The metabolites derived from judicious dietary choices play a crucial role in the management and treatment of depression. Hydroxy-carboxylic acid receptor 2 (HCAR2) functions as a receptor for various diet-derived metabolites. Although a growing body of evidence indicates these metabolites exert beneficial effects on depression, the precise mechanisms underlying these benefits require further investigation.
