The Colorado potato beetle (CPB, Leptinotarsa decemlineata) is a major pest of solanaceous crops and has developed resistance to many conventional insecticides, highlighting the need for novel, environmentally sustainable control strategies. In this study, we evaluated the efficacy of RNA interference (RNAi) targeting the proteasome subunit β5 (PSMB5) gene as a biopesticide approach against CPB larvae. Double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) targeting PSMB5 (a highly specific dsRNA) and Actin (a less specific dsRNA) dsRNA was synthesized and applied via leaf dip assays, either in naked form or formulated with chitosan nanoparticles.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) was a highly aggressive and metastatic subtype of breast cancer characterized by a poor prognosis and limited treatment options. Clarifying the underlying molecular mechanisms was of significant clinical importance. In this study, we We plotted Kaplan-Meier survival curves based on data from the Human Cancer Database and found that elevated CYPJ expression increased patient mortality risk and decreased survival rates.

Gastric cancer (GC) is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally, with metastasis critically impacting prognosis. Splicing factors are key regulators of tumorigenesis, particularly in metastasis. In this exploratory study, we investigated the role and mechanism of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A/B (HNRNPAB) in GC cell invasion and migration.

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive cancer with poor prognosis and chemoresistance. Nano-bioconjugates, due to their enhanced surface-to-volume ratio, offer significant potential in cancer therapy. In this study, we synthesized ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) using solution combustion method and exhibited a particle size range of 20-70 nm as confirmed by TEM analysis.

Background: Identifying haemodynamic factors associated with thin-walled regions (TWRs) of intracranial aneurysms is critical for improving pre-surgical rupture risk assessment. Intraoperatively, these regions are visually distinguished by a red, translucent appearance and are considered highly rupture prone. However, current imaging modalities lack the resolution to detect such vulnerable areas preoperatively.
