Unlabelled: Aortic dissection is a life-threatening cardiovascular emergency, particularly Stanford type A, which typically necessitates urgent surgical intervention. Despite advances in surgical techniques and perioperative care, preoperative bleeding and coagulopathy remain significant challenges. Tranexamic acid, an antifibrinolytic agent, is widely used to minimize perioperative bleeding in cardiovascular surgeries; however, its role in the non-surgical, preoperative stabilization of aortic dissection has not been well established.

Unlabelled: This report provides a detailed analysis of a singular case involving cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) in a male patient who suffered a stroke. Our investigation delves into the clinical manifestations, genetic foundations, diagnostic complexities, and prognosis associated with CADASIL. As a notable contributor to stroke occurrence in young patients, CADASIL's impact on morbidity and mortality is influenced by stroke-related complications and cognitive decline.

The development of non-Hodgkin lymphoma following liver transplant is rare. We present an unusual case of a 40-year-old female patient with morbid obesity who had undergone a deceased donor liver transplant for an unresectable neuroendocrine tumor of the liver 12 years ago. She presented with a lesion in the tail of pancreas that was suggestive of a recurrent neuroendocrine tumor.

Methods: Between 2013 and 2021, we assessed the surgical and oncological outcomes and pathological findings of patients with LA-HCC without extrahepatic spread (EHS) whose tumors converted from unresectable to resectable status with the New-FP regimen HAIC.
Results: We censored 153 patients with LA-HCC (Child-Pugh A, without EHS) indicated for HAIC.
