Myocardial infarction (MI), induced by ischemia and hypoxia of the coronary arteries, presents as myocardial necrosis. Patients often experience intense, prolonged retrosternal pain that is unrelieved by rest or nitrate therapy and is frequently associated with high blood myocardial enzyme levels. Physical effort may exacerbate this anxiety, increasing the likelihood of life-threatening consequences such as arrhythmias, shock, or cardiac failure.

Background: The effectiveness of ethanol infusion of the vein of Marshall (EIVOM) for persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients with mitral valve replacement (MVR) remains to be determined.
Objectives: This study investigated the effectiveness and safety of EIVOM in catheter ablation of persistent AF in patients with MVR.
Methods: This is a retrospective case-control study.

Background: The learning curve for pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) using "single-shot" pulsed-field ablation (PFA) is thought to be short. 3D electro-anatomical mapping (3D-EAM) might provide adjunctive information to shorten the learning curve and improve lesion durability.
Objective: To analyze procedural performance markers over time for PVI using PFA and 3D-EAM.

Background: Catheter ablation of scar-related interatrial septal atrial tachycardias (IAS-ATs) is challenging and can be refractory to conventional unipolar radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA).
Aim: This multicenter study investigated the safety and efficacy of bipolar radiofrequency catheter ablation (Bi-RFCA) in patients with IAS-AT refractory to conventional unipolar RFCA.
Methods: Consecutive patients with scar-related IAS-AT refractory to conventional unipolar RFA across three electrophysiological centers were included in the study.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a leading cause of death worldwide. CVD includes conditions such as myocardial infarction (MI), arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathy. The limitations of heart treatment are related to the inability of damaged cells to regenerate, which leads to an increasing demand for new therapies.
