Article Abstract
Enterovirus 71 (EV71) is a huge threat to the worldwide public health and there is no approved antiviral drug for EV71-induced disease therapy. Corydaline exists antiallergic and antinociceptive activities, but the anti-EV71 activity of corydaline is still not reported. In this study, corydaline could suppress the expression of viral structural and non-structural proteins. Furthermore, corydaline inhibits EV71 replication by suppressing the COX-2 expression and the phosphorylation of JNK MAPK and P38 MAPK but not ERK MAPK in vitro. Based on these findings, corydaline could be a potential lead or supplement for the development of new anti-EV71 agents in the future.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common inflammatory skin disease characterized by recurrent eczema and chronic itching, affecting a significant portion of the global population. This study investigated the effects of Corydalis Tuber 70% ethanol extract (CTE) on tumor necrosis factor-α- and interferon-γ (TI)-stimulated human keratinocytes (HaCaT) and a house dust mite-induced AD mouse model, elucidating its mechanism via transcriptome analysis. A total of 13 compounds, including columbamine, corydaline, dehydrocorydaline, and glaucine, were identified in CTE using ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.

Aim Of The Study: Osteolysis in Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is principally provoked by osteoclast hyperactivity. This study aims to employ Corydaline (Cory), a plant extract, as an osteoclast inhibitor in treating RA-inflicted osteolysis while unveiling the corresponding mechanism.
Materials And Methods: Osteoclasts were derived from mouse bone marrow-derived monocytes (BMMs) stimulated with M-CSF and RANKL.

Ether-à-go-go (EAG) potassium channels play a crucial role in the regulation of neuronal excitability and cancer progression, rendering them potential drug targets for cancer therapy. However, the scarcity of information regarding the selection sites on hEAG1 has posed a challenge in the discovery of new hEAG1 inhibitors.
