An aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is a type of reactive reparative bone neoplasm that rarely occurs in the head and neck. To date, only a small number of cases have been previously reported. The present study reports the case of a 58-year-old male who presented with a tumor in the laryngeal cricoid cartilage, a rare position for a tumor, who subsequently underwent treatment by surgical resection. Based on the observations of the present study and a literature review, it was concluded that an ABC of the larynx can be identified based on a combination of radiology and postoperative histopathology examinations. However, following a tracheotomy and excision, the difficulty of performing tracheal cannula removal is inevitable. The present study described in detail a rare disease, ABC, occurring in the larynx. More cases are required for follow-up studies.

Aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is a locally destructive benign tumour-like condition of the bones with blood-filled cystic cavities. The talus is an extremely rare site for an ABC, with <20 reported cases till 2012 based on a PubMed database search. Aneurysmal bone cyst recurrence in the talus after curettage and bone grafting is extremely rare.

Sclerostin, a key regulator of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, exhibits dual therapeutic potential in bone disorders: its inhibition promotes bone formation in osteoporosis, while its mimicry suppresses aberrant bone growth in osteoarthritis (OA). Using structural insights from NMR studies, we identified two sclerostin-derived peptides: SC-1 (an 18-mer) from loop 2, and SC-3 (a 14-mer) from loop 3. Molecular modeling showed that SC-1 binds to the first ectodomain of LRP6, potentially displacing sclerostin through competitive inhibition to activate Wnt signaling.

Aim: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of preoperative embolization in reducing intraoperative blood loss and transfusion requirements, as well as its impact on recurrence in patients with histopathologically confirmed aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs).
Methods: A retrospective review was conducted on 107 patients who underwent surgical treatment for ABC at a tertiary oncology center between 2004 and 2023. Patients were grouped based on whether they received preoperative embolization (n = 50) or not (n = 57).

Introduction: There are limited reports of C1 lateral mass reconstruction using a titanium mesh cage following the surgical removal of an aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC). We describe two uncommon and challenging cases of C1 ABC, highlighting the obstacles and complexities involved in selecting the appropriate approach for tumor resection, C1 stabilization, and reconstruction.
Case Discussion: A 12-year-old boy presented with 3 months of progressive upper cervical and occipital pain with no history of trauma.
