Introduction: A myocardial bridge (MB) is a condition where a segment of an epicardial coronary artery passes through the myocardial muscle. While traditionally regarded as benign, MBs have been associated with various cardiovascular conditions. Therefore, assessing their hemodynamic impact is crucial for informed treatment decisions.

Unfortunately, only a limited number of preclinical models have been developed for investigating cardiovascular dysfunction following cervical SCI. Furthermore, the broader consequences of cervical SCI on aerobic capacity and muscle endurance during physiological stress testing also remains understudied preclinically.

Aims: Chronotropic incompetence (CI) is a biomarker of cardiac autonomic dysfunction. The aim of the study is to assess the risk stratification value of CI during exercise or pharmacological stress echocardiography in patients with chronic coronary syndromes.
Methods And Results: In a prospective, multicenter, international, observational study, we enrolled 13 445 patients with known or suspected chronic coronary syndromes who underwent stress echocardiography in 19 clinical sites from 10 countries using either exercise (n = 2594), dobutamine (n = 2440), or dipyridamole (n = 8411).

Objective: Acute stress enhances the activity of magnocellular neurons (MNs) by inducing long-term changes in excitatory inputs. We aim to investigate the mechanism underlying long-term potentiation (LTP) of glutamatergic inputs to paraventricular nucleus (PVN) MNs in stressed rats.
Methods: Rats were subjected to multiple stressors and randomly assigned to control and stress groups.

Background: Non-infectious, allergic reactions affect many individuals and can range from mild to life-threatening. Kounis syndrome, an acute coronary syndrome triggered by allergic reactions, represents an association between allergies and myocardial ischemia. However, the significance of elevated cardiac biomarkers, particularly high-sensitivity cardiac troponin (hs-cTn), in patients presenting to the emergency department (ED) with allergic symptoms remains unclear.
