Article Abstract
A 50-year-old female operated of Bentall five years before was referred to our hospital for an aneurysm of both right subclavian artery and brachiocephalic trunk associated with a false anastomotic aneurysm on the insertion of the left coronary artery. The procedure was performed under moderate hypothermic circulatory arrest; the false aneurysm was repaired, the brachiocephalic trunk and the subclavian aneurysm were resected, an aorto-carotid and axillary bypass were finally performed. The postoperative course was uneventful. She was discharged to home on postoperative day 7. At six-month follow-up, she was still asymptomatic.

Background: Variations can occur in the branching pattern of the aortic arch (AA) because of its complex embryological development. These variations are quite common and typically asymptomatic but can sometimes cause dyspnea, dysphagia, and intermittent claudication, as well as confusion in the interpretation of radiological scans.
Methods: In the present study, we analyzed the types and incidence of AA variations in 105 patients after careful computed tomographic angiographic (CTA) imaging.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze laryngotracheal separation (LTS) outcomes and evaluate the efficacy of the evaluation criteria for prophylactic innominate artery transection (PIAT) in neurologically impaired patients.
Methods: 67 patients who underwent LTS were reviewed. They were divided into three groups: patients without a tracheostomy tube (TT) (Group 1), patients with a TT but without PIAT (Group 2) and patients with TT and PIAT (Group 3).

Objectives: Coarctation of the aorta (CoA) is the most common undiagnosed congenital heart disease during prenatal screening and its overall prognosis relies on the quality of the surgical repair. This study aimed to identify the prenatal and postnatal factors associated with the type of surgical technique repair in infant CoA.
Methods: Multicentre, retrospective, observational study in 680 infants (68% males) aged <1 year who underwent CoA surgical repair in 4 CHD surgical centres in France over 11 years.
