Efficient recognition and selective capture of NH is not only beneficial for increasing the productivity of the synthetic NH industry but also for reducing air pollution. For this purpose, a group of deep eutectic solvents (DESs) consisting of glycolic acid (GA) and phenol (PhOH) with low viscosities and multiple active sites was rationally designed in this work. Experimental results show that the GA + PhOH DESs display extremely fast NH absorption rates (within 51 s for equilibrium) and high NH solubility.

Herein, the olefin or aromatics yields of ex-situ catalytic pyrolysis of pine can be regulated by impregnating Sn on hollow-structured ZSM-5 (M-ZSM-5) and microporous ZSM-5 catalysts in fixed-bed reactor, respectively. Results showed that Sn/ZSM-5 catalyst simultaneously increased medium acidic sites and maintained strong acidic sites, which obtained the maximum carbon yield of aromatics (33.

Lignin is considered as a promising substitute for fossil resources, but its efficient conversion remains a huge challenge due to the structural complexity and immiscibility with typical solvents. Herein, a series of surfactant-free microemulsion reactors comprised of n-octane, water and n-propanol were designed and their corresponding phase behaviors alongside their ability to intensify oxidative depolymerization of lignin were explored. Experimental results show that the phenolic monomer yield improves substantially (40-500 wt%) by comparison with processes performed in a single solvent.

Green and efficient synthesis of titanium-containing molecular sieves is limited by the quantity of environmentally unfriendly additives and complicated synthesis procedures required. Oligomerization of Ti monomers into anatase TiO is the typical outcome of such procedures because of a mismatch between hydrolysis rates of Si and Ti precursors. We report a simple and generic additive-free route for the synthesis of Ti-containing molecular sieves (MFI, MEL, and BEA).

An efficient emulsion microreactor was constructed for selective conversion of lignosulfonate via hydrogen transfer reaction based on the self-surfactivity of this natural aromatic polymer. Industrial Raney Ni and isopropanol were used as catalyst and hydrogen donor, respectively. The results showed that the emulsion microreactor has a remarkable process intensification effect on the lignosulfonate depolymerization.
