We conducted the largest genome-wide meta-analysis of borderline personality disorder (BPD) to date, with a discovery sample of 12,339 cases and 1,041,717 controls, and a replication study of 685 cases and 107,750 controls (all participants of European ancestry). We identified 11 independent associated genomic loci, and nine risk genes in the gene-based analysis. We observed a single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) heritability of 17.

In this study, (NH) [AlMoOH]·7HO was employed as a polyacid anion template, pentacyclic imidazole molecules served as organic ligands, and the moderate-temperature hydrothermal and natural evaporation methods were used in combination for the design and synthesis of two octamolybdenum-oxo cluster (homopolyacids containing molybdenum-oxygen structures as the main small-molecular structures)-based organic-inorganic hybrid compounds, [(CNH)(CNH)][(-MoOH)] () and {Zn(CNH)}{[(-MoO)(CNH)]}·2HO (). Structural and property characterization revealed that both compounds crystallized in the -1 space group with relatively stable three-dimensional structures under the action of hydrogen bonding.

The NOD-like receptor pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome, a key regulator of innate immunity, is activated by reactive oxygen species and tissue damage, contributing to inflammatory responses. This study examines the role of NLRP3 in fat embolism-induced ARDS and evaluates the therapeutic potential of MCC950, a selective NLRP3 antagonist.

Despite evidence that symptom severity and functional impairment are partially distinct, functional impairment is often overlooked. To assess whether functional impairment captures diagnostically relevant genetic liability beyond that of symptoms, we aimed to estimate the heritability of, and genetic correlations between, key measures of current depression symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and functional impairment.

In this paper, we pose a novel challenge for monitoring large-scale crowd scenes from an aerial view via estimating specific crowd flow for each partitioned region. However, existing methods are difficult to estimate the specific crowd flow for each region flexibly, simply, and accurately, especially lacking clear crowd appearance features from a top-down view.

This study aimed to examine the plasticity and metabolic heterogeneity of CAFs in HNSCC patients before and after immunotherapy.
Methods: An integrated single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis based on data from the GSE195832, GSE65868, and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA)-HNSCC datasets was conducted.
Sorting municipal solid waste (MSW) at the source is a critical first step toward achieving a circular economy. Previous research has primarily focused on vision-based intelligent algorithms for MSW classification using red-green-blue (RGB) images. Some studies have also explored sound-based classification; however, only a few studies have employed multimodal deep learning methods (MDLMs) that integrate both image and sound data for MSW identification.

Methods: All 194 patients were divided into CS (94 patients) and DCB (100 patients) groups in this multicenter retrospective study.
Background: Capmatinib was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2020 for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer with MET exon 14 mutation (METex14). Real-world studies on the safety of Capmatinib are still lacking. The aim of this study was to explore the significant adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with Capmatinib through the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database.

The initiation of ciliogenesis hinges on the recruitment of Tau tubulin kinase 2 (TTBK2) to the distal appendages (DAs) of centrioles through CEP164. However, the detailed mechanism underlying the CEP164/TTBK2 interaction at DAs during ciliogenesis remains incompletely understood.

There has been no bibliometric assessment of the scientific advancements in this field. We conducted this study to determine the characteristics and trends of published research on AS for PTMC.

This study aimed to develop an individualized thyroid dosing regimen to enhance thyroid protection during radiotherapy.
Methods And Materials: In this study, we enrolled 621 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) across four distinct cancer centers, stratifying the data into a training cohort and two external validation cohorts.
Parotid lymph node (PLN) metastasis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is rare, with limited data guiding its management and prognosis. We retrospectively analyzed 6924 non-metastatic NPC patients at our tertiary cancer center, identifying 126 patients with PLN metastasis confirmed by fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Survival outcomes and prognostic factors were assessed using Kaplan-Meier estimates, log-rank tests, propensity score matching (PSM), and Cox regression.

Background: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a malignant tumor characterized by distinct geographic and pathological features. Enhancing diagnostic accuracy and timeliness in NPC is crucial for clinical implications. Radiomics has demonstrated significant potential in the clinical management of NPC.

While nucleic acid tests, antigen tests, and CT imaging provide high accuracy, they face inefficiencies and limited accessibility, making rapid and convenient testing difficult. Recent studies have explored COVID-19 detection using acoustic health signals, such as cough and breathing sounds.

Objective: This study aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying SLE by analyzing glucocorticoid-related genes (GRGs) expression profiles.
Methods: We examined the expression profiles of GRGs in SLE and performed consensus clustering analysis to identify stable patient clusters.
A new sesterterpenoid versicolorin A () and five known compounds - were isolated from a -colonising fungus ZJUTE2 cultured on soybean meal. The planar structure of was determined by 1D, 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS. The stereochemistry of was established by NOESY experiment, quantum chemical calculation of C NMR combined with DP4+ probability analysis, and comparison of the optical rotations.

Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on 759 patients with NPC who underwent pretreatment 18F-FDG PET. The optimal cutoff values for maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) and metabolic tumor volume (MTV) were determined by receiver operating characteristic curve analysis.
Introduction: Temozolomide (TMZ) is a widely used chemotherapy agent for the treatment of malignant gliomas and other brain tumors. Despite its established therapeutic benefits, there is an ongoing need to understand better its safety profile, particularly in real-world clinical settings. This study aimed to identify critical adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with TMZ by utilizing the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database, thereby providing valuable safety insights for clinical practice.

Here, we combined data on antidepressant non-response measured using rating scales for depressive symptoms, questionnaires of treatment effect, and data from electronic health records, to increase statistical power to detect genomic loci associated with non-response to antidepressants in a total sample of 135,471 individuals prescribed antidepressants (25,255 non-responders and 110,216 responders). We performed genome-wide association meta-analyses, genetic correlation analyses, leave-one-out polygenic prediction, and bioinformatics analyses for genetically informed drug prioritization.
