In this study, a method for the determination of three medicinal and food homologous crops (fresh and dried Panax notoginseng, Lilium, and Lonicera japonica) was established, which had good linearity (R > 0.9971), accuracy (77%-104%) and precision (intraday RSD of 0.4% to 8.

Purpose: The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate the impact of setup errors on the dosimetry and radiobiology of left-sided breast cancer (BC) patients with different breast sizes undergoing conventionally fractionated volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) radiotherapy.

Methods: A total of 36 BC patients who underwent breast-conserving surgery were enrolled in the study. Setup errors were simulated through isocenter shifts in six directions.

Objectives: To propose a new method for optimizing radiotherapy planning for lung cancer by incorporating prognostic models that take into account individual patient information and assess the feasibility of treatment planning optimization directly guided by minimizing the predicted prognostic risk.

Methods: A mixed fluence map optimization objective was constructed, incorporating the outcome-based objective and the physical dose constraints. The outcome-based objective function was constructed as an equally weighted summation of prognostic prediction models for local control failure, radiation-induced cardiac toxicity, and radiation pneumonitis considering clinical risk factors.

Background: At present, the implementation of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) treatment planning for geometrically complex nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) through manual trial-and-error fashion presents challenges to the improvement of planning efficiency and the obtaining of high-consistency plan quality. This paper aims to propose an automatic IMRT plan generation method through fluence prediction and further plan fine-tuning for patients with NPC and evaluates the planning efficiency and plan quality.

Methods: A total of 38 patients with NPC treated with nine-beam IMRT were enrolled in this study and automatically re-planned with the proposed method.

Background: Current intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) treatment planning is still a manual and time/resource consuming task, knowledge-based planning methods with appropriate predictions have been shown to enhance the plan quality consistency and improve planning efficiency. This study aims to develop a novel prediction framework to simultaneously predict dose distribution and fluence for nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated with IMRT, the predicted dose information and fluence can be used as the dose objectives and initial solution for an automatic IMRT plan optimization scheme, respectively.

Methods: We proposed a shared encoder network to simultaneously generate dose distribution and fluence maps.

A series of new organic hybrid polyoxovanadate clusters [VO(μ-OH)(acac)(Htri)] (1, Htri = tris(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, acac = acetylacetone), [VO(acac)(Htri)(L)] {HL = methanol (2), ethanol (3a and 3b), ethylene glycol (4) and benzyl alcohol (5)}, {VO(HO)(tri-acetamide)(CHCOO)} (6, Htri-acetamide = -(2-hydroxy-1,1-bis-hydroxymethyl-ethyl)-acetamide), [VO(μ-OH)(Htri)]·6HO (7) and [VO(tri)(Htri)(HCOO)(CHCOO)]·2HO (8) were prepared by hydro(solvo)thermal methods and characterized structurally. 1 contains [VO(OH)(acac)] and [VO(Htri)] units, which are further interconnected common edges to build a tetravanadyl cluster [VO(OH)(acac)(Htri)] with the double-deficient cube [VO]. The tetravanadyl cluster frameworks of 2-5 can be derived from the tetravanadyl cluster of 1 by replacing two -OH groups with two deprotonated organic alcohol ligands, namely, CHO (2), CHCHO (3a and 3b), HO(CH)O (4) and CHCHO (5).

Understanding and improving the public risk perception have become an important element in the management of flood risk. In China, the risk government is of so-called nationwide catastrophe response mode which is different from the widely adopted "bottom up" risk governance mode in the Western countries. Such a particular mode may make Chinese people perceive risk in a different way from people in other countries.

One novel octasubstituted trisalkoxotetradecavanadate cluster, [VO(tri)(Htri)(HCOO)]·2HO [; Htri = tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane], was revealed by a hydrothermal method. shows a new type of fully reduced trisalkoxotetradecavanadate cluster, incorporating the highest number of Htri ligands, that is constructed by the interconnection of two rare trisalkoxoheptavanadate units via two O bridges. The magnetic and photocurrent response properties were investigated.

Heat-stable antifungal factor (HSAF) is a broad-spectrum antifungal antibiotic produced by the biological control agent, Lysobacter enzymogenes. In our earlier works, we have applied HSAF to effectively control wheat and pear fungal disease. However, a major bottleneck in its practical application is the low HSAF production level; therefore, boosting its production is essential for its wide application.

Purpose: To detect the expression of programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) in peripheral blood T lymphocytes of patients with primary liver cancer and its effect on their prognosis.

Methods: The medical records of 42 patients with primary liver cancer, 36 patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and 38 healthy volunteers composed the liver cancer group, benign lesion group and control group, respectively. Fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) was used for detecting the expression level of PD-1 mRNA in peripheral blood T lymphocytes of subjects in the three groups, and flow cytometry was used for detecting the positive expression of PD-l protein on the surface of T lymphocytes of subjects.

Remotely sensed image fusion is a critical issue, and many methods have been developed to inject features from a high spatial resolution panchromatic sensor into low spatial resolution multi-spectral images, trying to preserve spectral signatures while improving spatial resolution of multi-spectral images. However, no explicit physical information of the detection system has been taken into account in usual methods, which might lead to undesirable effects such as severe spectral distortion. Benefiting from the proper decomposition of the image fusion problem by a concise image fusion mathematical model, the present paper focuses on comparing reasonable modulation coefficient of spatial details based on analysis of the spectral response function (SRF).
