Introduction: High-grade gliomas (HGGs) have dismal prognosis even with multimodality treatment entailing surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Hence, assessment of improvement in quality of life (QOL) for evaluating treatment is critical. Target delineation for radiotherapy in HGG is often done according to the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and Radiotherapy and Oncology Group (RTOG) contouring guidelines, which differs on exclusion and inclusion of peritumoral edema believed to harbor malignant cells; the guidelines have not been prospectively compared for probable difference in QOL, considering the probable difference in treated volume.

This study aimed to evaluate palliative care capacity across eleven northern Indian hospitals whose physicians and nurses had undergone training as part of the Cancer Treatment Centers (CTC) program. An online rapid evaluation using The "Standards audit tool for Indian palliative care programs" developed by the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) was done to audit specific aspects of palliative care delivery including staff training, recordkeeping, availability of morphine, and continuing professional development programs. A descriptive analysis of the data was conducted.

Radiotherapy is commonly used in the curative treatment of head and neck cancers, serving both definitive and adjuvant roles. As oncologic outcomes improve, there is a rising occurrence of second malignancies among long-term survivors of these cancers. Radiation-induced osteosarcoma (RIOS) is an uncommon malignancy that emerges as a late consequence of radiotherapy.

In the present study, the outcome was assessed after post-operative radiotherapy along with factors associated with recurrence in patients with oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma.
Material And Methods: This retrospective study included postoperative oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (OCSCC) patients treated with adjuvant radiotherapy.
Background & objectives Gallbladder cancer (GBC) has a low overall survival rate due to late detection and poor prognosis. Chronic inflammation contributes to malignant conversion and metastasis in GBC. Expression of inflammatory proteins, such as signal transducer and activator of transcription factor (STAT) and nuclear factor kappa B (NFĸB) proteins, for diagnosis through immunohistochemistry (IHC) is a promising area of research; however, diagnosis of GBC through IHC-based methods is still in its infancy.

Our study aimed to analyze the situational awareness of a rural community population toward the most common cancers in females.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study in the rural Indian community of Uttarakhand, recruiting 589 participants from Pauri Garhwal.

Introduction: Concurrent chemo-radiotherapy is standard of care for locally advanced Head and Neck squamous cell carcinoma. Induction chemotherapy is given to reduce locoregional relapse, distant metastases and tumor shrinkage. Response to induction chemotherapy can predict response to radiotherapy, but impact of IC response to survival benefit after radical treatment is less studied.

Sulfur- and nitrogen-functionalized few-layer graphene exhibited remarkable proton conductivity of 0.0865 S cm at 95 °C, 95% RH, comparable to Nafion, with a low activation barrier and exceptional stability over a month. The incorporation of sulfonic acid and nitrogen-functionalities resulted in acid-base synergism and excess charge carriers for proton conduction.

Chronic inflammation plays a crucial role in its pathogenesis, with inflammatory pathways contributing to tumor development. This study evaluates the diagnostic potential of microRNA19a and microRNA146a, key regulators of inflammatory and oncogenic pathways, in distinguishing GBC from cholelithiasis and healthy controls.

In cancer patients, physical and psychological issues are very common. There is a need for family support and high utilisation of healthcare resources commonly. Palliative care (PC) has grown in popularity to better fulfil of needs of patients and their families and potentially lowering hospital costs.

Materials And Methods: We included patients with a histologically confirmed diagnosis of cancer who defaulted during evaluation, treatment, and follow-up.
Background And Objective: Nada yoga is a complementary therapy known for its potential to reduce anxiety. This study aimed to assess the effects of nada yoga music on anxiety management and quality of life (QoL) in ovarian cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Materials And Methods: In this randomized controlled trial, 58 ovarian cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy were recruited.
Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) has brought about interest in adaptive radiotherapy (ART) due to its benefit of accurately prescribing doses to tumors and sparing normal critical organs. Critical dosimetric errors and geometrical misses can occur due to anatomical changes during radiotherapy. In the present study, five patients with head and neck malignancies undergoing radiation therapy were assessed for changes in primary gross tumor volume (GTVp), nodal gross tumor volume (GTVn), and clinical target volume-high risk (CTV-HR) using weekly megavoltage-cone beam computed tomography (MV-CBCT) scans.

Background: Set-up errors are an undesirable part of the radiation treatment process. The goal of online imaging is to increase treatment accuracy by reducing the set-up errors. This study aimed to determine the daily variation of patient set-up uncertainties and planning target volume (PTV) margins for head and neck cancer patients using pre-treatment verification by mega voltage cone-beam computed tomography (MV-CBCT).

Background: People living with cancer benefit greatly from informal caregivers. No previous meta-analysis was done to check the effect of psychological intervention on cancer caregiver's quality of life.
Objectives: The goal of this meta-analysis was to check the effect of psychosocial interventions on Cancer's Caregiver quality of life and check the impact of various psychological intervention programs.
The design of single-component organic compounds acting as efficient solid-state proton conduction (SSPC) materials has been gaining significant traction in recent times. Molecular design and controlled self-assembly are critical components in achieving highly efficient SSPC. In this work, we report the design, synthesis, and self-assembly of an organic macrocyclic aza-crown-type compound, P2Mac, which complements synthetic ease with efficient SSPC.

Despite increasing interest, to the best of our knowledge, no meta-analysis has been undertaken to amalgamate the existing data concerning the prognostic significance of micro-RNAs (miRNAs) in GBC in comparison to studies on miRNAs in other cancers. Hence, this systematic review and meta-analysis aimed at determining the prognostic significance of miRNAs in GBC patients.

Malnutrition increases the risk of postoperative complications, increases hospital length stays, reduces patient's tolerance to radiation and chemotherapy treatment, and results in poor response to treatment. In the present study, we intended to assess the nutritional status of cancer patients and find the correlation of body mass index with anthropometric and blood parameters.

Adaptive radiotherapy (ART) can overcome this. Timing of significant target and OAR changes with dosimetric impact; thus, most suitable time and frequency of ART is unclear.
