Migratory birds are critical global carriers and vectors of various viruses, potentially driving the mutation and transmission of novel pathogens, especially zoonotic viruses. Despite advancements in sequencing technologies, the viral diversity in wintering Siberian cranes () and wild geese ( spp.) remains poorly understood.

Herbivorous wildlife constitutes a vital component of the plateau's ecosystems, yet current research on parvoviruses in these species remains limited. With the development of viral metagenomics and next-generation sequencing technology, more and more novel viruses have been detected.

Although some studies have proposed a potential association between viral infections and lung cancer pathogenesis, the evidence remains inconclusive. This study characterized the virome in blood, upper respiratory tract, and gut samples from 200 lung cancer patients and 75 healthy controls, with the goal of identifying potential microbial biomarkers for lung cancer, using viral metagenomics.

P-Coumaric acid (PCA) is a phenolic acid with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant pharmacological actions. This research aims to investigate the effect of PCA on CKD-induced muscle atrophy and its underlying mechanism.

The Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (QTP) provides a home to diverse flora and fauna, and its ecosystems are unique worldwide. The study focused on the bharal, an endemic species found in the QTP and adjacent regions. We applied viral metagenomics technology to extract samples from the feces of 10 wild bharal.

The aluminum alloy drill pipe suffers long-term high-temperature conditions during ultra-deep well drilling. In this paper, the samples were prepared by vacuum hot pressing, followed by hot extrusion and T6 heat treatment. The mechanical properties of short carbon fiber reinforced 2024 aluminum alloy composites (SCFs/2024 Al) and the microstructure evolution at the interface region thermal exposure at 160 °C for 500 h are discussed.

Objective: We present a case of choriocarcinoma in a viable pregnancy with the rare presentation of intractable lower back pain.
Case Report: The patient is a 34-year-old multiparous woman with her second pregnancy, and a history of scoliosis with spinal fixation. Her first pregnancy was uneventful, with a term vaginal delivery.
WS(2) nanotubes were irradiated with a focused electron beam in an electron microscope. The results show that the nanotubes are destroyed from the outer layer to the inside. The displaced atoms can leave the irradiated area by sputtering events or by diffusive migration along the shells and the inner hollow.

To determine whether the prognosis of congenital (infantile) fibrosarcoma in the retroperitoneum, an extremely rare form of soft tissue malignant tumor, can be assessed prenatally.
Methods: We describe a case of this condition diagnosed in utero, including the assessment of the tumor behavior by ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging.
