The cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) of tertiary amines and terminal alkynes is a vital catalysis step in the manufacture of C─C bonds. The traditional thermal catalysis, utilizing noble metal salts or toxic solvents, generally results in relatively low atom economy or unmet sustainable development prospect. The challenge of the CDC reactions lies in the simultaneous activation of C─H bonds in terminal alkynes and formation of free radical activation of tertiary amines to achieve the C─C coupling, which calls for novel catalytic techniques and powerful catalysts.

This study develops an equivalent model for such loads using a one-way inclined single-layer cylindrical lattice shell structure as a case study. First, ANSYS/LS-DYNA was used to simulate free-air blasts and benchmark against experimental data, with peak overpressure errors below 8%, confirming the modeling approach and material parameters.

Background: Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that negatively impacts quality of life and is frequently comorbid with depression and anxiety. Chronic insomnia affects approximately 15% of the global population, with higher prevalence among females and the elderly. While existing research suggests a bidirectional relationship between insomnia and emotional disorders, the specific impact of insomnia severity on depression, anxiety, and quality of life remains unclear.

Scanning electron microscopy, elemental analyzer, X-ray diffractometry, N adsorption/desorption experiments, and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry characterizations revealed the existence of their mesoporous structure and numerous oxygen-containing functional groups. The obtained BCs not only possessed high affinity towards BZDs via π-π and hydrogen bond interactions, but also afforded the great biocompatibility of excluding interfering components from undiluted urine samples when using SPE adsorbents.

Covering: 1962 to 2023Drimane (hydro)quinones biosynthetically arise from the combination of drimane-type terpenoids with phenols or equivalents. Since the isolation of siccanin in 1962 (structure identified in 1967), over 200 natural drimane (hydro)quinones have been reported. They are widespread with remarkably diverse architectures and biological functions, which are achieved by varying either the drimane subunit, hydroquinone segment, or the fusion types of drimane and hydroquinone segment both of them.

A novel iterative detection algorithm canceling parallel iterations that employ the lattice reduction-aided approach is proposed. Soft information is exchanged through the detector itself.

The Au nanoparticles (NPs) were constructed via in-situ growth on the surface of Cu/TiC NSs and characterized by different characterization techniques. After the addition of Hg, the formation of Hg-Au alloys could promote the oxidization of o-phenylenediamine (OPD) to generate a new fluorescence emission peak of 2,3-diaminopenazine (ADP) at 570 nm.

We previously reported that ErbB2 supports malignant progression of breast cancer by upregulating lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA), an important enzyme in glycolysis. However, whether ErbB2 promotes breast cancer progression through other glycolytic enzymes remains unclear.

This article explored a concise approach toward synthesizing a series of novel L-pyroglutamic acid analogues from L-hydroxyproline. Furthermore, bioassay studies of these sulfonyl ester derivatives against , , , , and showed moderate antifungal activity.

In this work, we synthesized an upconversion luminescent material, β-NaYF: Pr, Li (NYF), which can generate UVC, and compounded it with a BiOCl photocatalyst to synthesize β-NaYF: Pr, Li@BiOCl (NYF-Bi) with a core-shell structure. The NYF-Bi composite material can be driven under visible light and has high photocatalytic activity.

Ovac were stable when incorporated into m-BiVO(001) and increased the adsorption energy of O. Ovac changed the V3d orbitals of m-BiVO(001) by adding a new band gap level, causing the redundant electrons of V atoms to become carriers and promoting the separation efficiency of electrons and holes.

This study aimed to evaluate the associations of platelet distribution width (PDW) with the disease severity and critical patients' survival of HFRS. The demographics, clinical data, and white blood cell and platelet parameters including PDW in 260 patients hospitalized for HFRS were analyzed.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFA primary Li-air battery has been developed with a flowing Li-ion free ionic liquid as the recyclable electrolyte, boosting power capability by promoting superoxide diffusion and enhancing discharge capacity through separately stored discharge products. Experimental and computational tools are used to analyze the cathode properties, leading to a set of parameters that improve the discharge current density of the non-aqueous Li-air flow battery. The structure and configuration of the cathode gas diffusion layers (GDLs) are systematically modified by using different levels of hot pressing and the presence or absence of a microporous layer (MPL).
