Recently, the herbicide fomesafen has frequently failed to control the troublesome weed Ipomoea nil in soybean fields in Liaoning Province, China. Sagittaria trifolia control is threatened by the emergence of resistance to acetolactate synthase (ALS)-inhibiting herbicides.
