We propose what we believe to be a novel approach for generating wideband chaos via intensity-modulated chaotic optical injection, utilizing chaotic signals produced by a free-running vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser. Two injection configurations are considered: parallel injection and orthogonal injection. Specifically, we examine the effect of injection parameters, including injection strength and frequency detuning, on the chaos radio frequency spectrum bandwidth.

Gut microbiota exerts a pivotal influence on the development of Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD), although the specific contributions of individual bacterial strains and their metabolites remain poorly defined. We conducted stool shotgun metagenomic sequencing and plasma untargeted metabolomics in a large prospective cohort comprising 120 MAFLD patients and 120 matched healthy controls. The mechanisms and microbial-derived metabolites involved in MAFLD were further investigated through multi-omics analyses and .

Background And Aims: Cholecystectomy is one of the most common surgical procedures for the treatment of diseases associated with gallstones, and the incidence of post-cholecystectomy diarrhea (PCD) has attracted attention in recent years. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of PCD in patients with gallstones and to analyze the factors influencing it.
Methods: Between August 2022 and December 2024, there were 3385 cases of gallstones diagnosed by abdominal ultrasound or CT examination and laparoscopic cholecystectomy in tertiary hospitals in Hainan Province.

The ubiquitous presence of micro-and nanoplastics (MNPs) in the environment and everyday products has attracted attention due to their hazardous risks. However, the effects of MNPs on reproduction and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. The present study investigated the impact of polystyrene (PS) nanoplastics of 80, 200 and 500 nm diameters on zebrafish reproduction at an environmentally relevant concentration of 0.

The loading of cocatalysts on photoanodes has been recognized as the simplest and most efficient optimization scheme, which can reduce the surface barrier, provide more active sites, and accelerate the surface catalytic reaction kinetics. Nevertheless, the introduction of cocatalysts inevitably generates interfaces between photoanodes and oxygen evolution cocatalysts (Ph/OEC), which causes severe interfacial recombination and hinders the carrier transfer.

However, the fixed number of member nodes and single voting type will affect the security of the whole system. In order to reduce the negative impact of the above problems, a new consensus algorithm based on vague set and node impact factors is proposed.
