This study aims to explore the relationship between physical activity, social adaptation, pro-social behavior, and psychological capital, and to examine the mediating role of social adaptation in the influence of physical activity on psychological capital and the moderating role of pro-social behavior on this mediating effect. In this study, a cross-sectional study design was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 415 students from a 211 university in Ningxia, and their physical activity, psychological capital, social adaptation and prosocial data were collected during the break. In addition, this study conducted Harman single factor test, independent sample t test, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and moderated mediating effect model analysis on the data.

This trial is a prospective, multicenter, controlled study designed to assess the diagnostic performance of CAG-FFR and CAG-IMR in patients with suspected myocardial ischemia using wire-based FFR and IMR as reference standards. The functional parameters were calculated using a reduced order computational fluid dynamics solver that incorporates thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) frame count and aortic pressure recorded by a disposable invasive pressure sensor.

In selected patients with stage IV gastric cancer, radical surgery after conversion therapy may increase survival benefit; however, there is currently no standard protocol for conversion therapy. We explored the feasibility and efficacy of sintilimab plus two-drug chemotherapy (S-1 plus nab-paclitaxel) and apatinib as conversion therapy in patients with stage IV gastric cancer in China. This was a prospective, single-arm, single-center, phase 2 study.

The condensation of the injected steam, which is induced by subsurface temperature gradients, is recognized as crucial in hindering the remediation of NAPLs. To quantitatively examine the complex process for an optimal design, this study formulates a thermo-hydro-concentration-moisture coupled two-phase flow model.

Although limonoid biosynthesis has been extensively characterized, the enzymatic machinery governing pentacyclic triterpene formation remains poorly defined.

Immunotherapies, such as vaccines, necessitate a more comprehensive understanding of the tumor immune microenvironment and tumor-specific antigens. The immune heterogeneity of ESCA, which is shaped by immune cell infiltration and antigen presentation, remains largely unexplored, particularly in terms of its interactions with autoimmune mechanisms.

Methods: A total of 68 patients with highly calcific lesions, who underwent both QFR and UFR measurements after PCI with both RA and stenting, were enrolled. The major adverse coronary events (MACE) of 62 patients who completed 12-month follow-up were analyzed.
Background: Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) predicts poor prognosis in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). However, the impact of intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) on CMD remains unclear, and no studies have directly compared IVL and rotational atherectomy (RA) in the context of CMD.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate CMD, as indicated by angiographic microvascular resistance (AMR), in patients undergoing IVL- or RA-assisted PCI for heavily calcified coronary lesions.

Diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a common and fatal cardiac complication caused by diabetes, with its pathogenesis involving various forms of cell death and mitochondrial dysfunction, particularly ferroptosis and mitochondrial injury. Recent studies have indicated that ferroptosis and mitochondrial damage play crucial roles in the onset and progression of DCM, though their precise regulatory mechanisms remain unclear. Of particular interest is the interaction between ferroptosis and mitochondrial damage, as well as their synergistic effects, which are not fully understood.

This study aims to investigate the biological function of miR-371b-5p in osteosarcoma progression and the role of FUT4 in this process. For investigations, the human osteosarcoma cell lines (SaOS2, 143B, KHOS and U2OS) as well as the human osteoblast cell line (hFOB1.

Studies focusing on the assessment of postoperative coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) after RA and related prognosis are scarce.
Aims: We investigated the predictive risks of microvascular dysfunction and postoperative major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients after RA.
Music as an environmental factor can maintain intestinal health in animals, but it is unclear whether this effect is influenced by the tones of the music. In this study, 100 Kunming white mice were randomly divided into control group (C group) with no music, and three music groups were exposed to Mozart K.448 in D, A and G tone (D group, A group and G group), respectively.

Methods: Clinical data were collected from patients admitted to the Cardiology Department of Yan'an Hospital of Kunming City between July 2020 and July 2021. The participants included patients with AMI (AMI; n = 30), stable angina pectoris (SAP; n = 30), and chest pain syndrome (CPS; n = 30) and healthy controls (n = 30).
Traditional HO photocatalysis primarily depends on photoexcited electrons and holes to drive oxygen reduction and water oxidation, respectively. However, singlet oxygen (O), often underappreciated, plays a pivotal role in HO production. Meanwhile, photocatalytic biomass conversion has attracted attention, yet studies combining HO synthesis with biomass valorization remain rare and typically yield low-value products.

Sit-to-stand is an indispensable functional activity in human daily life, which requires high muscle strength, not only to control the lower limbs, but also to ensure the stable ascension of the trunk. This paper describes in detail the trajectory and speed of the joints through the human sit-to-stand test, analyzes the change rule of the angle of the joints, the angular velocity and the position of the center of mass in the human sit-to-stand, and records in detail the change of the plantar pressure of the subjects in this process. Through the study on joint motion and plantar pressure changes in the process of sit-to-stand, this paper summarizes the kinematics of human body in this process, aiming to provide a basis through the results of this paper for the design of human sit-to-stand assistive devices, which may be used in the future to analyze the sit-to-stand state of patients with lower limb disorders, and carry out the corresponding treatment and rehabilitation training.

We hypothesised that (a) a pre-hospital conveyance algorithm based on initial presenting rhythm following OHCA is feasible and (b) that would demonstrate survival advantage.
Methods: This observational pilot study included all consecutive patients with OHCA from suspected cardiac aetiology from the county of Essex, United Kingdom from April 2022-April 2023.
Introduction: Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is increasingly in demand for treating severe aortic stenosis in a variety of surgical risk profiles. This means increasing wait times and elevated morbidity and mortality on the waitlist. To address this, we developed the SWIFT TAVR algorithm to prioritize patients based on clinical risk and reduce wait times.

Background: Our previous study demonstrated that microRNA-409-5p (miR-409-5p) and its target ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7) were involved in hypoxia-induced cardiomyocyte injury and ischemic left ventricular remodeling (LVR) in rats. This study aimed to probe into the relationship between plasma miR-409-5p and USP7 levels and LVR and dysfunction in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
Methods: Sixty patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and 60 cases with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) were enrolled.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate whether intermittent cold stimulation can induce adaptation in broilers to acute cold stress (ACS) by regulating the lipid metabolism of hearts.
Methods: CS0 were kept at normal rearing temperature, while CS3 and CS5 were exposed to 3°C for 3 and 5 hours, respectively, on alternate days lower than CS0 from 15d to 35d. On 50d, broilers in three groups were exposed to ACS at 10°C for 12 hours (Y12).
