Background: Mental disorders are highly prevalent during pregnancy and are associated with unfavorable obstetrical outcomes, including maternal mortality. This study examined specific and combined associations of mental disorders with maternal morbidities.

Methods: A cross-sectional study of all delivery hospitalizations between the ages of 12-55 years was conducted using the National Inpatient Sample data from 2017.

To elucidate their structural hierarchical deformation, this study investigated the combined tissue, fibrillar, and molecular response of tendons to in situ tensile load by means of simultaneous small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering.

Löfgren's syndrome is an acute, self-limiting variant of sarcoidosis, typically presenting with erythema nodosum, bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy, and acute arthritis or periarthritis-most commonly involving the ankles. Its clinical overlap with other inflammatory conditions can pose a diagnostic challenge. We describe a 34-year-old male with no prior medical history who presented with bilateral ankle and foot pain, erythema, and swelling, initially diagnosed as cellulitis based on imaging findings.

Krylov diagonalization of large many-body Hamiltonians on a quantum processor.

The estimation of low energies of many-body systems is a cornerstone of the computational quantum sciences. Variational quantum algorithms can be used to prepare ground states on pre-fault-tolerant quantum processors, but their lack of convergence guarantees and impractical number of cost function estimations prevent systematic scaling of experiments to large systems. Alternatives to variational approaches are needed for large-scale experiments on pre-fault-tolerant devices.

Chemistry beyond the scale of exact diagonalization on a quantum-centric supercomputer.

A universal quantum computer can simulate diverse quantum systems, with electronic structure for chemistry offering challenging problems for practical use cases around the hundred-qubit mark. Although current quantum processors have reached this size, deep circuits and a large number of measurements lead to prohibitive runtimes for quantum computers in isolation. Here, we demonstrate the use of classical distributed computing to offload all but an intrinsically quantum component of a workflow for electronic structure simulations.

Concurrent Coccidioidomycosis and Infection in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Coccidioidomycosis, endemic in the southwestern United States, can lead to severe pulmonary complications, particularly in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with poor lung reserves. has a predisposition for structurally damaged lungs, commonly causing difficult-to-treat bronchiectasis and cavitary lesions. We present the case of a 58-year-old patient with advanced COPD and a remote history of pulmonary coccidioidomycosis diagnosed 30 years earlier, who was found to have sputum and radiographic evidence of cavitary lung disease 4 years prior to admission, but was lost to follow-up.

Background: Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by demyelination of peripheral nerves. Cardiopulmonary Outcomes in Covid-19 Patients Discharged From a Tertiary Care Center: A Prospective Study.

To determine the cardiopulmonary changes in the survivors of acute COVID-19 infection at 3-6 month and 6-12 month. We followed up 53 patients out of which 28 (52%) had mild COVID-19 and 25 (48%) had severe COVID-19. The first follow-up was between 3 month after diagnosis up to 6 month and second follow-up between 6 and 12 month from the date of diagnosis of acute COVID-19.
