This study presents the calibration methodology of NiCr-NiSi thin-film thermocouples and evaluates their application in real-time temperature monitoring and characterization of fuel cell thermal behavior. Experimental results reveal that the Seebeck coefficients of the NiCr-NiSi thin films remain stable after multiple calibration cycles, indicating good reliability and repeatability. Furthermore, the thermocouples demonstrate an ultrafast response time of less than 15 microseconds and reach thermal equilibrium within 200 microseconds under transient thermal inputs.

Plant cold stress caused by cold waves often occurs during winter and spring, and seriously affects the growth and yield of tomatoes in horticultural facilities. The cultivation of cold-resistant tomato varieties during winter is therefore of great significance. Methyl jasmonate (MeJA) treatment is known to improve tomato cold tolerance.

Drought serves as a major environmental stress that restricts both the yield and quality of perennial ryegrass. Therefore, it is important to identify the essential genes that determine drought tolerance in perennial ryegrasses. In this paper, we isolated a drought-induced NAC transcription factor LpNAC22.

However, traditional manufacturing technologies exhibit significant limitations in achieving high resolution and multifunctional integration. Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) printing technology, which harnesses the synergistic effects of electric fields and fluid dynamics, enables precise control over the formation and deposition of micro-nanometer jets.

Although a series of artificial intelligence models have been reported to predict protein subcellular localization, most of them provide only textual outputs. Here, we present deepGPS, a deep generative model for protein subcellular localization prediction.

Corneal confocal microscopy (CCM) is a rapid, noninvasive method to assess DPN by analysing corneal nerve fibre morphology. However, selecting high-quality representative images remains a critical challenge.

With the increase of HPH treatment, fat globules were further broken, and their adsorption on the interface was promoted, which further enhanced the stability of cream, leading to smaller particle size and higher apparent viscosity. Moreover, whipping performance of cream is the best at 30 MPa.

Eulophidae and Pteromalidae are parasitic wasps with a global distribution and import for the biological control of pests. They can be distributed in different altitude regions, but their morphological and genetic adaptations to different altitudes are unclear. Here, we collected specimens that belong to Eulophidae and Pteromalidae from various altitudinal gradients, based on integrated taxonomic approaches to determine the species composition, and we analyzed their body shape and size from different altitudes using geometric morphometrics.

We previously found that decreased expression of miR-122-3p was associated with liver cancer. In this study, we aimed to explore the target of miR-122-3p and the effect of the Liujunzi formula on miR-122-3p and its downstream events in liver cancer.

However, information regarding the intensification of Fe(VI) through piezo-catalysis is limited. Therefore, our study is the first to apply BiWO nanoplates for piezo-catalyzation of Fe(VI) to enhance bisphenol A (BPA) degradation.

Ferrate (Fe(VI)) has been extensively studied as a green oxidant to treat wastewater. But Fe(VI) oxidation still faces several challenges for application, such as the sensitivity of Fe(VI) to pH and the restrictions on the Fe(VI) utilization efficiency for pollutant elimination at low concentration levels. This study proposed a two-stage Fe(VI) oxidation process to enhance the bisphenol A (BPA) removal for potential applicability, consisting of the adsorption by CNTs of stage I and the degradation by Fe(VI) of stage II.

Herein, inspired by the structure of multi-layer steamed bread, an alternating multilayered structure with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-derived carbon layers and graphene/electrospun carbon nanofibers layers was designed through alternating vacuum-assisted filtration method. The composite film exhibited favorable impedance matching, abundant loss mechanism, and excellent EMI shielding ability, resulting in absorption dominated shielding characteristic.

Smaller particle size and higher zeta potential value were observed in the α-La/GA emulsion as compared to the α-La emulsion. Ultra-high-resolution microscopy revealed that the interfacial film formed around oil droplets by α-La/GA complex was thicker compared to that of either α-La or GA.

However, the low transformation of Fe(V) and/or Fe(IV) by Fe(VI) and incomplete mineralization of pollutants limit their application. In this work, we designed a photo electric cell with TiO nanotubes (TNTs) and Pt serving as the anode and cathode to enhance the utilization of Fe(VI) (Fe(VI)-TNTs system).
