Acute lung injury (ALI) is the most serious complication of sepsis, but there is currently a lack of effective treatment methods. Therefore, finding drugs to treat sepsis induced acute lung injury (SALI) is an urgent clinical problem that needs to be solved. Kaempferol has been proven to have therapeutic effects on various lung diseases.

The application of poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) in tissue engineering is limited due to its brittleness and uncontrollable degradation rate. In this study, the flexible p-dioxanone (PDO) and highly reactive glycolide (GA) units were introduced into PLLA segments by chemical modification to prepare poly(l-lactide-ran-p-dioxanone-ran-glycolide) (PLPG) copolymers. The copolymers were then processed into the PLPG scaffold by a 3D printing technology.

Therefore, it is necessary to actively pursue efficient diagnostic and treatment modalities for this malignancy. Photothermal therapy (PTT) is a non-invasive treatment technique that can generate high temperatures locally to induce tumor cell death, but its effectiveness is limited by the tissue-penetration depth of infrared light.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most commonly diagnosed and malignant cancers worldwide. Conventional therapy strategies may not completely eradicate the tumor and may cause side effects during treatment. Nano-catalytic therapy, as a novel strategy, has attracted a great deal of attention.

In this study, an accurate signal amplification strategy was proposed for the sensing and quantification of alkaline phosphatase using poly (3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS), gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), and Ag. Signal amplification was achieved by the modification of PEDOT:PSS and AuNPs on glassy carbon electrodes.

Monitoring environmental water quality in an efficient, cheap, and sustainable way can better serve the country's strategic requirements for water resources and water ecological protection. This paper takes the Shaanxi section of the Weihe River Basin as a pilot project and aims to use the Internet of Things technology to develop water quality monitoring sensors, so as to realize the construction of low-cost, high-reliability water quality monitoring demonstration applications. First of all, we established the design of the water quality collection terminal, designed the low-power water quality sensor node, supported the Internet of Things protocol and the collection of various water quality parameters, and used networking for data transmission.

A triple sequential junction by rationally combining anatase/rutile nanoparticle TiO2 heterophase (Ans/R) and rutile/rutile TiO2 homophase (Rns/R) junctions was fabricated as a proof of concept. Such a continuous charge separation and transfer channel resulted in a remarkable enhancement in the separation of photogenerated carriers and the photocatalytic activity.

To make full use of natural waste, a novel Mg-Al mixed oxide adsorbent was synthesized by the dip-calcination method using the fluff of the chinar tree (FCT) and an Mg(II) and Al(III) chloride solution as raw materials. The adsorbents were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The effects of the Mg/Al molar ratio and calcination temperature on the performance of the novel Mg-Al mixed oxide adsorbent were investigated.
