Highlights: The friction force is one of the important influence factors on tire slip, overturning, and rollover characteristics of tractors. The maximum static friction forces of three different tractors were measured on paved roads under various loading conditions. The prediction models of the previous study were improved through regression analysis for the measured data.

However, access to in-person CBT-I remains limited due to a shortage of trained providers and structural barriers. Digital CBT-I (dCBT-I) offers a scalable solution to bridge this treatment gap, yet real-world evidence of its effectiveness remains limited.

Formaldehyde is a common indoor organic pollutant and primarily emitted from materials such as artificial panels and wall coatings, posing significant risks to human health. Therefore, it is of practical significance to develop novel materials for efficient removal of indoor formaldehyde. Prussian blue analogs (PBA), which possess desirable properties such as high tunability, multifunctionality, large specific surface area, and environmental friendliness, show great potential in formaldehyde removal applications.

However, achieving high reproducibility, reliability, and sensitivity in large areas remains challenging. In this study, we present a simple fabrication method for a layered, sandwich-nanoarchitectured SERS substrate consisting of multiscale nanomaterials of (1) 0D, Au nanoparticles (AuNPs), (2) 1D, TEMPO-oxidized nanocellulose fibers (TC), and (3) 2D, MXene (TiCT).

However, many SACs suffer from suboptimal hydrogen adsorption energies and limited synergy with the support matrix, which restrict their intrinsic activity and durability. Overcoming these limitations requires an integrated strategy that simultaneously optimizes both the atomic coordination environment and the support architecture.

Here, the synthesis of two types of mesoporous BiSe films at different reduction potentials is reported and their application in electrochemical glucose sensing. Mesoporous BiSe is synthesized by incorporating block copolymer micelle assemblies into the deposition solution and applying a reduction potential.

Critical factors such as biocompatibility, electrical performance, and structural and optical differences, which can adversely affect the functionality of implantable devices, are systematically analyzed and compared with general electrodes. By employing an integration of three-dimensional simulations and implantation experiments, we demonstrate that the remarkably extensive surface area, low reflectance, and outstanding peak current values inherent in porous Pt facilitate effective stimulation while simultaneously ensuring a high degree of biological safety.

Efficient ion and electron transport, along with low electrode resistance, is critical for enhancing performance in these areas. To optimize MOF-derived carbons, we synthesize Zn-based zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-8) nanocrystals with controlled sizes and a narrow size distribution, resulting in nanoporous polyhedral carbon structures.

Since companies have declared their commitment to operating with 100% renewable energy, developing electrical storage systems using natural eco-friendly resources is in full swing. Efforts to replace existing materials in core electrode materials are accelerating, but the use of toxic chemicals in the complex production process is decreasing its value. This study presents a unique porous carbon electrode made of pure biomass DNA wastes synthesized simply via a single step of hydrogelation-calcination without activation through carbonization.

However, the SWRO-PRO hybrid system still faces the following challenges: low freshwater recovery and low energy generation. To resolve these challenges, this study first proposes a novel SWRO-Solar-driven desalination (SD)-PRO hybrid system for energy-efficient desalination.

In the case of commercialized carbon materials are related to heat loss resulting from high thermal conductivity, and metal particles still have trouble in commercialization or cost-effectiveness. This is because a photothermal desalination evaporator must simultaneously exhibit high water evaporation performance, excellent energy conversion efficiency, sufficient hydrophilicity, and low heat loss.

Low body mass index is closely related to a high risk of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and related biomarkers including amyloid-β (Aβ) deposition. However, the association between sarcopenia and Aβ-confirmed AD remains controversial. Therefore, we investigated the relationship between sarcopenia and the AD continuum.

BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to determine how the combination of plyometric training (PT), which builds strength through fast, repetitive extensions and contractions, and kettlebell training (KT), using a device that is smaller than a barbell and allows for strength and full-body work, affects the physical performance and performance of high school pitchers during the season. MATERIAL AND METHODS Participants (n=30 males; age group=16-19 years) were randomized into 3 groups: compound training group (CTG) (n=10), plyometric training group (PTG) (n=10), and kettlebell group (KTG) (n=10). All groups performed training twice weekly for 4 weeks.

However, most studies have focused on recognizing individual behaviors, whereas recognizing crowd behavior remains a complex problem because of the large number of interactions and similar behaviors among individuals or crowds in video surveillance systems. To solve this problem, we propose a three-dimensional atrous inception module (3D-AIM) network, which is a crowd behavior classification model that uses atrous convolution to explore interactions between individuals or crowds.

Using observational data and a Linear baroclinic model experiment, our study suggests that the occurrence of hot day is mainly due to anomalous high pressure over East Asia associated with a horizontal stationary wave train originating from a positive phase of the North Atlantic Tripole (NAT) sea surface temperature (SST) in spring. The effect of a positive phase of the NAT SST is evident in the 2000s, apparently associated with the linear trend of the North Atlantic SST like a positive phase of the NAT SST.
