Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have improved progression and overall survival in patients progressing on sorafenib therapy. But activation of the immune system can lead to numerous immune-related adverse events.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of robotic-arm-assisted [F]NaF-PET/CT-guided intra-articular block for lumbar facet joint (LFJ) or sacroiliac joint (SIJ) arthropathy.
Materials And Methods: In this single-centre, non-randomized, prospective phase 2 clinical-trial, participants with chronic low back pain (CLBP) were recruited from August 2022 to June 2024. Participants having NaF-avid LFJ or SIJ on [F]NaF-PET/CT underwent robotic-arm-assisted intra-articular block with steroids and local anaesthesia.
Sarcoidosis is a multisystem granulomatous inflammatory disease that typically involves the lungs and lymph nodes, but can involve any organ in the body, including (but not limited to) the liver, spleen, myocardium, and nervous system, leading to diverse clinical presentations and imaging findings. We hereby present a pictorial review of typical and atypical 18F-FDG PET/CT findings in histopathologically confirmed sarcoidosis patients with varied clinical presentations.

Materials And Methods: Our retrospective study analyzed 381 patients with suspicion of prostate cancer who underwent 68 Ga-PSMA PET/computed tomography (CT) between January 2021 and December 2022. Among these, 170 patients also underwent MpMRI.

Purpose: Treatment response assessment in grade 1/2 neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) has been a key challenge due to their indolent nature. Here, we propose the novel response evaluation criteria with [Ga]Ga-somatostatin analogue (SSA)-PET/CT in grade 1/2 NETs (RECIN) following [Lu]Lu-DOTATATE therapy and evaluate its survival impact vis-à-vis conventional radiographic response assessment.
Methods: This was a post-hoc analysis of the phase 2 LuCAP trial, wherein somatostatin receptor-positive, advanced grade 1/2 gastroenteropancreatic NET patients were treated with [Lu]Lu-DOTATATE ± capecitabine.

Lu-prostate-specific membrane antigen-617 (Lu-PSMA-617) has shown positive survival outcomes in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. However, there are limited data in the hormone-sensitive setting. Here, in the CONSOLIDATE trial (Lu-PSMA-617 Consolidation Therapy After Docetaxel in Patients with Synchronous High-Volume Metastatic Hormone-Sensitive Prostate Cancer), we intended to evaluate the role of Lu-PSMA-617 as consolidation therapy for residual disease after chemohormonal treatment in patients with synchronous high-volume metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC).

Patients with risk factors likely chronic corticosteroids and immunosuppressants consumption usually have a higher tendency for disseminated infections with formation of deep abscesses at various sites in the body. Functional imaging with PET, being a whole body imaging offers information about the various sites of disease, thereby assisting the treatment planning, treatment response and also to identify the sites of biopsy.

Introduction: Localizing the source of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) in patients with ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome (CS) poses significant challenges. There is a pressing need for novel imaging modalities that provide both anatomical delineation and functional confirmation of corticotropinomas.
Methods: This study utilized a modified form of desmopressin (mDesmo), an agonist of the V1b receptor, which is overexpressed in tumoral corticotrophs.
Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) overexpression on prostate cancer cells finally led to the FDA approval of the therapeutic use of 177Lu-PSMA-617 in metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer. However, PSMA is also expressed in the neovasculature of other solid tumors, such as lung and renal cancer, making the theranostic potential of 177Lu-PSMA-617 worth exploring in this setting. Here is such a case of an 83-year-old man with advanced non-small cell lung cancer where the theranostic potential of 177Lu-PSMA-617 was explored using dosimetric analysis.

In addition, based on the research, it was reported that there is an underreporting of respiratory cases, overuse of antibiotics, and prolonged hospitalizations which is posing pressure on UAE healthcare stakeholders. A literature review was done exploring UAE's current diagnostic practices, recommended guidelines, diagnostic gaps, and challenges in RSV, GAS, Influenza, and COVID-19.

Due to its imaging similarities with other malignant breast lesions, differentiating adenosis from other invasive carcinomas of the breast poses a diagnostic challenge. Fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) expression is observed in various benign and malignant lesions, increasing the risk of false-positive results.

Lu-DOTATATE has emerged as a viable treatment strategy for advanced well-differentiated grade 1/2 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). Few retrospective studies have shown concomitant Lu-DOTATATE with radiosensitizing low-dose capecitabine to be effective in advanced NETs. However, this has not been validated in prospective randomized-controlled trials.

Newer imaging modalities like prostate-specific membrane antigen PET have shown superior diagnostic performance in detecting PC and clinically significant PC (csPC). This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to synthesize evidence on the diagnostic performance of PSMA PET-guided prostate biopsy in detecting PC and csPC.

With the evident increased prevalence of respiratory tract infections (RTIs) such as Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), influenza, Group A Streptococcus (GAS), and COVID-19, the conventional diagnostic methods are considered sub-optimal in providing timely management to patients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Gaps in current diagnostics are magnified by the Kingdom's unique demographic composition, comprising 11.9 million foreign workers, and the annual influx of over 10 million pilgrims.
