The insulating rod of aramid fiber-reinforced epoxy resin composites (AFRP) is an important component of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). Under complex working conditions, the high temperature caused by voltage, current, and external climate change becomes one of the important factors that aggravate the interface degradation between aramid fiber (AF) and epoxy resin (EP). In this paper, molecular dynamics (MD) simulation software is used to study the effect of temperature on the interfacial properties of AF/EP.

With the extensive application of glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) in the field of high voltage insulation, its operating environment is becoming more and more complex, and the surface insulation failure has gradually become a pivotal problem affecting the safety of equipment. In this paper, nano-SiO was fluorinated by Dielectric barrier discharges (DBD) plasma and doped with GFRP to enhance the insulation performance. Through Fourier Transform Ioncyclotron Resonance (FTIR) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) characterization of nano fillers before and after modification, it was found that plasma fluorination can graft a large number of fluorinated groups on the surface of SiO.

Methods: We compared the gene profiles between localized prostate cancer and metastatic CRPC using the GEO dataset and intersected with a cluster of known ferroptosis-related genes. We received differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in CRPC related to ferroptosis and performed survival analysis to analyze the prognostic values.
Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) is a challenging entity with complicated symptoms for treatment in the male crowd. Accumulating evidence revealed the dysfunction in the central system should be a critical factor for the pathogenesis and development in the CP/CPPS. As a kind of chronic pain which the patients suffered for more than 3 months, we investigated the influence on patients' brain functional connectivity in resting state.
Methods: We recruited a cohort of 18 right-handed male patients with CP/CPPS and 21 healthy male right-handed age-matched controls.
Halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) as a natural and inexpensive clay mineral with hollow nanotubular structures, good biocompatibility and active surfaces have been ubiquitously applied in many fields. In this work, a novel multifunctional core-shell sorbent based on HNTs, CuCl-HNTs encapsulated magnetic microspheres (SiO@FeO), was successfully fabricated and applied for Hg removal from flue gas with good performance for the first time. The core-shell structure prevented the composites from aggregating but kept their magnetism, which enabled the adsorbents being easily separated for reuse by an external magnetic field.

Methods: Between July 2003 and June 2011, a total of 91 patients were treated with transurethral resection (TUR) of the bladder tumor and were histopathologically confirmed to have NMIBC. Patients received an immediate instillation and maintenance therapy with THP.
Background: Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) was reported to have an important effect on malignant metastasis; however, it remained largely unknown if EMT marker expression of neoplastic tissue had predictive value for prognosis of prostate cancer.
Methods: We searched for published studies which measured EMT marker expression and analyzed its association with clinical outcomes of patients after Radical Prostatectomy (RP). We reviewed and pooled-analyzed the association of EMT marker expression and biochemical recurrence-free survival (BFS), as well as the difference in strong or weak expression of EMT markers in tumors of high Gleason score (≥8).

Periostin (PN), originally named osteoblast-specific factor-2 (OSF-2), is a multifunctional glycoprotein which can significantly promote EMT (epithelial-mesenchymal transition). Recently, many studies have shown that high-level expression of PN is correlated significantly with tumor angiogenesis and prognosis in many kinds of human cancer.
