Objective: This study aimed to analyze the impact of bedtime procrastination, rumination, loneliness, and positive body image on university students' sleep quality, and to explore potential mediating pathways and sex differences.

Methods: A total of 674 students from a university in southern China were recruited. Assessments of participants' body measurements were conducted, followed by the completion of a general information questionnaire, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Bedtime Procrastination Scale, Body Appreciation Scale, Body Image-Acceptance and Action Questionnaire, Ruminative Responses Scale, and University of Loneliness Scale.

In order to fill the relevant research gap on the influence of body dissatisfaction on depression in Chinese college students, we used structural equation modeling to explore the relationships between physical activity, body dissatisfaction, eating behavior, and depression. Participants were 1,714 undergraduate students in Southern China. Exercise served as a significant mediator between body mass index and depression, as well as between body dissatisfaction and emotional eating, accounting for 30% and 19.

Adopting noninvasive techniques to provide more precise parameters related to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of nutcracker syndrome is currently the focus of research on nutcracker syndrome. However, due to individual differences in patients and limitations in monitoring techniques, there is an urgent need for a new method to obtain more accurate parameters. This work is based on imaging data from two patients with nutcracker syndrome and numerically simulates the blood flow process in the left renal vein, revealing different clinical symptoms caused by changes in flow velocity, pressure, and wall shear stress.

Background: Previous studies have shown that body dissatisfaction is closely related to restrained eating, however, the specific mechanisms and conditions of body dissatisfaction need to be further explored. Therefore, this study aims to explore the mediating and moderating variables influencing the relations between body dissatisfaction and restrained eating, providing recommendations for the prevention of restrained eating among university students.

Methods: Participants comprised 1213 university students who completed the Negative Physical Self Scale, Ruminative Responses Scale, Restrained Eating Scale, and Physical Activity Scale.
