Objectives: This study aims to assess how single and mixed exposure to prenatal air pollutants influence early-life growth trajectories and to explore the potential for sexual dimorphism and sensitive windows.
Methods: This study conducted a longitudinal analysis of 2278 mother-infant pairs from Ma' anshan birth cohort in China.
Background: Ambient air pollution has been recognized as a potential threat to reproductive system function. However, studies investigating the relationship between air pollutants and pregnancy outcomes, particularly in the context of assisted reproductive technology (ART), has yielded inconsistent findings.
Methods: This study conducted an updated comprehensive search to identify observational studies published before October 14, 2023, that examined the associations between air pollution exposure and pregnancy outcomes among women undergoing ART.
Maternal exposure to fine particulate matter (PM) and residential greenness both influence fetal growth. No previous studies have examined their sex-specific and interaction effects. We aim to evaluate the sex-specific effects in these associations and exposure interactions.

Background: This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) immunotherapy with standard treatment for B-cell lymphoma, providing evidence-based support for the more efficient use of CAR-T cell immunotherapy.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive literature search of high-quality randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on CAR-T therapy for B-cell lymphoma in the following databases: Wanfang, Web of Science, CNKI, VIP database, and PubMed, up to February 2024. The outcome measures included objective remission rate (ORR), complete remission rate (CRR), and incidence of adverse reactions.

Background: Previous studies addressing the impact of environmental factors on TB prognosis are scarce, with only some studies examining the effect of particulate pollutants on TB mortality. Moreover, few studies have evaluated the effects of multiple gaseous pollutants and greenness exposures on newly treated TB patients on a large population scale.
Methods: Through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, data were collected from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2020 for newly treated TB patients in Anhui Province, China.
Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), including gestational hypertension (GH) and preeclampsia (PE), cause significant morbidity and mortality among pregnant women. Several environmental toxins, particularly those that affect the normal function of the placenta and the endothelium, are emerging as potential risk factors for HDP. Among them, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), widely used in a variety of commercial products, have been related to a variety of adverse health effects including HDP.

Conjunctivitis is an inflammatory disease of the conjunctival tissue caused by a variety of causes; despite the conjunctiva being directly exposed to the external atmospheric environment, the important role of air pollution is not fully evaluated, especially in areas with poor air quality undergoing rapid economic and industrial development. Information on 59,731 outpatient conjunctivitis visits from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2020 was obtained from the Ophthalmology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University (Urumqi, Xinjiang, China), and data on six air pollutants including particulate matter with a median aerometric diameter of less than 10 and 2.5 mm (PM and PM, respectively), carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur dioxide (SO), nitrogen dioxide (NO), and ozone (O) from eleven standard urban background fixed air quality monitors were also recorded.

Background: Emerging evidence suggests that per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are endocrine disruptors and may contribute to the etiology of diabetes.
Objectives: This study aimed to systematically review the epidemiological evidence on the associations of PFAS with mortality and morbidity of diabetes and to quantitatively evaluate the summary effect estimates of the existing literature.
Methods: We searched three electronic databases for epidemiological studies concerning PFAS and diabetes published before April 1, 2022.
Background: As a communicable disease and major public health issue, many studies have quantified the associations between tuberculosis (TB) and meteorological factors with inconsistent results. The purpose of this multicenter study was to characterize the associations between ambient temperature, humidity and the risk of TB hospitalizations and to investigate potential heterogeneity.
Method: Data on daily hospitalizations for TB, meteorological factors and ambient air pollutants for 16 cities in Anhui Province were collected from 2015 to 2020.
