Background: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder characterized by left ventricular hypertrophy and variable clinical manifestations, including asymptomatic states and sudden cardiac death (SCD). Data on its phenotype and genotype in the Indian population remain limited.
Methods: We studied 113 patients diagnosed with HCM.
Background: Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are an emerging occupational health concern for surgeons. We studied the effect of structured exercise training, and intraoperative Targeted Stretch Micro-Breaks on surgeons' workload during open thyroidectomy and modified radical mastectomy (MRM).
Methods: Experienced surgeons performed thyroidectomies and MRM before and after a structured self-administered muscle-strengthening exercise program and Targeted Stretch Micro-Breaks.
Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease renamed as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and a global health issue that causes excessive liver fat deposition without alcohol usage. Basic fatty liver to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis can lead to liver fibrosis, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. Role of research is vital due to the multifaceted, complex pathophysiology and the increasing incidence of a sedentary lifestyle.

A total of 20 OPU sessions were performed, which included 10 sessions in each FSH stimulated at the dose of 130 µg divided into four sub-doses and non-stimulated. Findings on the size of follicles having ≥6 mm showed a significantly higher, however an opposite trend was observed in the case of smaller sized follicle (<6 mm) between stimulated and non-stimulated respectively.
