Objective: Insomnia is a prevalent symptom among perimenopausal women, mainly attributed to estrogen-progesterone imbalance and neuropsychiatric factors, significantly impacting their quality of life. This article seeks to systematically evaluate the efficacy of integrated acupuncture-pharmacotherapy (AP) in treating perimenopausal insomnia (PMI), offering new insights for the management of insomnia in women.

Methods: Searches were conducted in 8 databases: PubMed, Web of Science (WOS), Cochrane Library, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China Biology Medicine Disc (CBM), Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database (Wanfang), and Chongqing VIP Database (CQVIP).

Background: Cognitive impairment is an escalating challenge in aging populations, with risk factors extending beyond traditional domains. The urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR), a marker of kidney and vascular health, has been associated with systemic dysfunction, yet its association with cognitive impairment remains underexplored. This study aims to delve into the association between UACR and cognitive function in older adults.

A dual-band dual-circularly polarized transmitarray antenna (TA) operating in the 28/39 GHz millimeter-wave band is proposed in this article. The TA unit consists of two parts: a broadband linearly polarized (LP) receiving part and a dual-band dual-circularly polarized transmitting part. An over-2-bit phase compensation is achieved by changing the size of the U-shaped slot and the rotation status of the receiving part.

This study employed extraction methods, namely acid, alkaline, ultrasonic-assisted, hot-water, and dual enzyme-assisted extraction to extract polysaccharides from Imai (TMIPs), and investigated them for intestinal digestion and fecal fermentation . Furthermore, using fructo-oligosaccharide as a positive prebiotic control, the impact of these TMIPs as carbon sources on the growth of and in liquid culture was assessed. The results showed that all fractions transit through the gastrointestinal tract without degradation.

A high precision electrostatic accelerometer has widely been employed to measure gravity gradients and detect gravitational waves in space. The high-voltage levitation method is one of the solutions for testing electrostatic accelerometers on the ground, which aims at simultaneously detecting all six-degree-of-freedom movements of the electrostatic accelerometers engineering and flight prototypes. However, the noise performance in the high-voltage levitation test is mainly limited by seismic noise.
