: Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common primary brain tumor in adults, with a poor prognosis and survival. Although typically presenting with focal neurological deficits, seizures, or cognitive decline, GBM can occasionally mimic autoimmune encephalitis (AE), leading to significant diagnostic delay. The overlap in clinical, radiological, and serological findings between GBM and AE underscores the need for thorough evaluation.

Objective: To assess the effectiveness and safety of oral propranolol for the treatment of ocular adnexal infantile hemangiomas.
Patients And Methods: retrospective observational cohort study. Propranolol was administered at an initial oral dose of 1 mg/kg and subsequently increased to 2 mg/kg for 1 year.
Objective: Oral cavity carcinomas (OCCs) represent roughly 50% of all head and neck cancers. The risk of occult neck metastases for early-stage OCCs ranges from 15% to 35%, hence the need to develop tools that can support the diagnosis of detecting these neck metastases. Machine learning and radiomic features are emerging as effective tools in this field.

In this retrospective study, we performed a volumetric analysis of paranasal cavity pneumatization in a population of adult patients with cystic fibrosis compared to healthy controls, providing parcel evaluation of each sinus, and analyzing the prevalence of major anatomical sinonasal variants in the two groups. We compared paranasal sinus volumes of 89 adult patients with cystic fibrosis and 144 healthy controls who underwent paranasal sinus computed tomography. Volumes were segmented and extracted on tomographic images using the freely available software MRIcron 2019, then compared using a t-test; the -score test was used to determine whether the two groups differ significantly in terms of major anatomical variants prevalence.

Over the last few years, radiation therapy (RT) techniques have evolved very rapidly, with the aim of conforming high-dose volume tightly to a target. Although to date CT is still considered the imaging modality for target delineation, it has some known limited capabilities in properly identifying pathologic processes occurring, for instance, in soft tissues. This limitation, along with other advantages such as dose reduction, can be overcome using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which is increasingly being recognized as a useful tool in RT clinical practice.

Orbital and ocular adnexal lymphoma (OAL) affects the orbit and the surrounding structures and can arise as several subtypes with variable prognoses. We performed an observational study on the relationship between OAL subtype, diagnostic features, and prognosis to offer valuable insights into imaging techniques, such as Positron Emission Tomography with 2-deoxy-2-[fluorine-18] fluoro-D-glucose integrated with Computed Tomography (F-FDG PET-CT), in predicting outcomes. Methods: The venous wall thickness (VWT) of 31 patients (23 males and 8 females) with COVID 19 previously admitted to Federico II University Hospital of Naples was evaluated through ultrasound measurement of the common femoral Vein 1 cm proximal to the saphenous-femoral junction and the popliteal Vein 1 cm distal to the confluence of gemellary veins. Measurements were taken with an automated tool to avoid human error.
Purpose: Cognitive impairment is described in 80% of Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) patients. Brain focal areas of T2w increased signal intensity on MRI, the so-called Unidentified Bright Objects (UBOs) have been hypothesized to be related to cognitive dysfunction, although conflicting results are available in literature. Introduction: Intellectual enrichment and brain reserve modulate the expression of cognitive and motor disability in multiple sclerosis (MS). Their association with fatigue, one of the most debilitating and common symptoms of MS, has never been explored.
Materials And Methods: Forty-eight MS patients underwent clinical and MRI examination at baseline and after 1 year.
The sellar region represents a complex anatomical area, composed of multiple structures of different embryological derivation, including the skull base and the pituitary gland, along with vascular, nervous, and meningeal structures. Masses arising in this region include benign and malignant lesions arising from the pituitary gland itself, but also from vestigial embryological residues or surrounding tissues, that may require different therapeutic approaches. While assessing sellar region masses, the combination of clinical presentation and imaging features is fundamental to define hypotheses about their nature.
