Tebuconazole (TBZ), a triazole-class fungicide widely used in agriculture, is frequently detected in aquatic environments due to runoff and leaching, where it poses a threat to non-target aquatic organisms. This study investigates the acute toxicity of TBZ on juvenile rainbow trout (), a commercially important cold-water fish species. The 96 h LC value was determined to be 9.

Elucidating the mechanisms of action of natural metabolites may be promising in the emergence of alternative candidate therapeutics. In the present study, the combined approaches of in silico molecular docking (MD) and in vitro analyses were conducted to investigate the interacting partners of 24-epibrassinolide (EBR) as a steroid-derived phytohormone in cancer cells and evaluate the cell death mechanisms associated with these partners. EBR scoring functions were initially calculated against the selected 35 functional target proteins, which may interact with steroids, for tumor biology using AutoDock Tools-1.

Background & Aims: Hypertension is common in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), but its impact on long-term clinical outcomes and disease progression remains unclear. This study investigated the association of hypertension and risk of adverse clinical outcomes and progression of liver stiffness/fibrosis in MASLD.
Methods: Three multicenter prospective cohorts were analyzed: the UK BioBank (UKBB) cohort to assess the risk of adverse clinical outcomes, the VCTE-Prognosis cohort to assess liver stiffness/fibrosis progression, and the Paired Liver Biopsy cohort to assess histologic liver fibrosis progression.

Atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases are the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis due to end-stage renal disease. Dyslipidemia is a major contributing factor to the development of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases, and its prevention is recommended to reduce cardiovascular risk. Several studies have demonstrated the presence of dyslipidemia in patients with chronic kidney disease, and peritoneal dialysis patients have been observed to have a more atherogenic lipid profile compared to those receiving hemodialysis.

Background: The Bosniak classification system is widely used to assess malignancy risk in renal cystic lesions, yet inter-observer variability poses significant challenges. Large language models (LLMs) may offer a standardized approach to classification when provided with textual descriptions, such as those found in radiology reports.
Objective: This study evaluated the performance of five LLMs-GPT‑4 (ChatGPT), Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and NotebookLM-in classifying renal cysts based on synthetic textual descriptions mimicking CT report content.

Introduction: The Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription signaling pathway orchestrates crucial aspects of immune regulation, including cytokine signaling, cellular proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of this pathway due to gain- or loss-of-function mutations significantly contributes to the development of inborn errors of immunity and various immune-mediated disorders. Understanding the molecular basis of these abnormalities is fundamental for enhancing diagnostic precision and developing targeted therapies.

Background: Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a serious mental disorder that is common worldwide and is associated with somatic symptoms. Cognitive and behavioral problems caused by depression can negatively affect problem-solving skills, and somatic symptoms related to depression can intensify this effect. Although the relationship between depression and problem-solving skills has been investigated in the literature, the mediating role of somatic symptoms in this relationship has not been sufficiently examined.

Recent advances in cow identification have been instrumental in enhancing understanding of disease progression, optimizing vaccination strategies, improving production management, ensuring animal traceability, and facilitating ownership assignment. Cow identification and tracking involve the precise recognition of individual cows and their products through unique identifiers or markers. Traditional methods like computer vision, ear tags, branding, tattooing, microchips, and other electrical methods have been widely employed for cow identification and tracking over an extended period of time.
