Driven by eutrophication and global warming, the occurrence and frequency of harmful cyanobacteria blooms (CyanoHABs) are increasing worldwide, posing a serious threat to human health and biodiversity. Early warning enables precautional control measures of CyanoHABs within water bodies and in water works, and it becomes operational with high frequency in situ data (HFISD) of water quality and forecasting models by machine learning (ML). However, the acceptance of early warning systems by end-users relies significantly on the interpretability and generalizability of underlying models, and their operability.

In the phase 3 ASPEN study (BGB-3111-302), comparable efficacy and a favorable safety profile versus ibrutinib were demonstrated in patients with MYD88-mutated Waldenström macroglobulinemia (WM), leading to approval of zanubrutinib for patients with WM. We report the synthesis of three nickel complexes based on Ni(NHC)[P(OR)](Ar)Cl and their application in C()-N cross-coupling reactions. Reactions involving secondary amines proceeded at room temperature, while anilines and primary alkyl amines coupled under mild heating. The reported complexes are air-stable as solids, operate at low catalytic loading, and do not require an exogenous ligand.

Material And Methods: A three-round Delphi process which involved 39 multidisciplinary experts in community-based rehabilitation services was conducted to reach consensus on a preliminary version of ICF core set for stroke survivors. The initial questionnaire included 130 second-level ICF categories while the panel was invited to suggest additional categories.

Association between correlated effective neural drive and electromechanical fluctuations during co-contraction: Insights from MU discharges and interference EMG.

This study investigated the correlation between the strength of correlated effective neural drive (END) to the antagonistic muscles and the fluctuations in neural/electrical and mechanical output around the joint during steady co-contraction, and whether the correlated END strength estimated from conventional surface EMG is correlated with that determined from motor unit (MU) discharges. Fourteen young male participants performed isometric steady co-contractions with their medial gastrocnemius and tibialis anterior muscles at 10% of maximal EMG while sitting. Correlated END strength was quantified as the maximum value of the cross-correlation function between the conventional surface EMG signals and between MU discharges decomposed from high-density surface EMG of each muscle.

We leveraged the electronic health records (EHR) system of a publicly funded academic institution to establish a retrospective cohort with longitudinal data to facilitate benchmarking, surveillance, and resource planning of a multi-ethnic T2D population in Malaysia. This cohort included 15,702 adults aged ≥ 18 years with T2D who received outpatient care (January 2002-December 2020) from Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
