Background: Labor shortages in health care pose significant challenges to sustaining high-quality care for people with intellectual disabilities. Social robots show promise in supporting both people with intellectual disabilities and their health care professionals; yet, few are fully developed and embedded in productive care environments. Implementation of such technologies is inherently complex, requiring careful examination of facilitators and barriers influencing sustained use.

Background: Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) affect up to 10% of pregnancies and can have adverse short and long-term implications for women and their babies. eHealth interventions include any health service or treatment delivered using the internet and related technology that aims to facilitate, capture, or exchange knowledge. eHealth interventions are increasingly used across many health care settings with improved outcomes.

Community Connectedness as a Source of Adherence to HIV Prevention Behaviors and Resilience Among Transgender Women of Color in New York City, 2020-2022.

To examine how one's community connectedness may act as a source of resilience and promote HIV prevention and care behaviors among transgender women of color. We analyzed survey data from 313 transgender women of color living in New York City collected from August 2020 to November 2022. The Community Connectedness Scale asks participants about their baseline feelings of connection, feelings of inclusion, feelings of belonging, feelings of isolation, and feelings of being unlike in relation to the transgender community.

Evaluating the completeness of postoperative endoscopic recurrence assessment in Crohn's disease patients with Kono-S anastomoses.

Background And Aims: Despite therapeutic advances, resection rates in Crohn's disease remain high. Kono-S is a novel anastomosis for ileocolonic resections; however, its altered configuration may challenge standard endoscopic assessment, particularly in the absence of validated scoring tools. Chronic Cough Hypersensitivity as a Neuropathic Disorder: Implications for Management and New Treatments.

Chronic cough can coexist with or without pulmonary and extrapulmonary conditions and can be refractory to therapies that improve these associated conditions. It is underlined by cough hypersensitivity, which is characterized by increased cough responses to stimuli that affect the airways and vagally innervated tissues as well as by excessive cough responses to innocuous stimuli, and it is caused by neuroinflammatory and neuropathic mechanisms at both peripheral and central levels. The management of chronic cough starts with exclusion of associated conditions, followed by use of neuromodulators and speech and language therapy.

10-years of gender inequalities in leisure-time physical activity among Brazilian adults (2010-2019).

This study aimed to measure the absolute and relative differences in the recommended practice of leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) of Brazilian men and women between 2010 and 2019. The sample consisted of 512,968 subjects from ten cross-sectional telephone surveys carried out in the 27 Brazilian capitals. The gap in the prevalence of LTPA practice between genders was calculated by measures of absolute inequality, calculated in percentage points, and relative inequality, calculated by the adjusted prevalence ratio (PR), with a trend analyzed by the Joinpoint regression method, obtaining the annual percentage change (APC).

Sexual Identity Development Milestones, Latent Profiles, and Proximal Minority Stressors in Australia's Generation Z.

This study examined the sequence and timing of sexual identity development (SID) milestones among Generation Z LGBTQ+ Australians, focusing on variations across subgroups and their relationship with minority stressors. The study included 490 Australian LGBTQ+ individuals aged 16 to 26, predominantly White ( = 389) and assigned female at birth ( = 402), with a balanced distribution between cisgender and gender-diverse participants. Demographic differences in the timing and achievement of SID milestones were found for sexual and gender identity.

Here, we report a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase 1 study to assess the safety and tolerability of PXS-6302, a topical pan-lysyl oxidase inhibitor, in treating mature scars (ACTRN12621001545853).

A scoping review of women's experiences and barriers in automated vehicle research.

Automated vehicles (AVs) have the potential to enhance transportation for all, but current research suggests that women remain less engaged and more hesitant toward their adoption. This scoping review systematically analyses 34 peer-reviewed studies published between 2016 and 2025 to assess how women's experiences, needs, and concerns are represented in AV research. Using thematic analysis, we identify key facilitators and barriers to AV adoption and map them onto a Socio-Ecological Model spanning five levels: individual, interpersonal, institutional, community, and policy.

Novel Approach to Cosmological Nonlinearities as an Effective Fluid.

We propose a two parameters extension of the flat ΛCDM model to capture the impact of matter inhomogeneities on our cosmological inference. Non virialized but nonlinearly evolving overdense and underdense regions, whose abundance is quantified using the Press-Schechter formalism, are collectively described by two effective perfect fluids ρ_{c}, ρ_{v} with nonvanishing equation of state parameters w_{c,v}≠0. These fluids are coupled to the pressureless dust, akin to an interacting DM-DE scenario.

Potential impact, costs, and benefits of population-wide screening interventions for tuberculosis in Viet Nam: A mathematical modelling study.

Population-wide screening may accelerate the decline of tuberculosis (TB) incidence, but the optimal screening algorithm and duration must weigh resource considerations. We calibrated a deterministic transmission model to TB epidemiology in Viet Nam. We simulated three population-wide screening algorithms from 2025: sputum nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT, Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra) only; chest radiography (CXR) followed by NAAT; and CXR-only without microbiological confirmation.

Dendritic cells (DCs) are potent antigen-presenting cells and play a key role in facilitating the sexual transmission of HIV, functioning as a delivery system responsible for trafficking the virus from exposed barrier sites to their key target cells, CD4 T cells. Although the role of DCs in HIV transmission is well established, the recent advent of high-parameter, single-cell detection technologies, coupled with improved cell isolation techniques, has led to the rapid reclassification of the DC landscape, particularly within human barrier tissues. The identification of new subsets introduces the challenge of incorporating previously understood transmission principles with new, cell-specific, functional nuances to identify the key DCs responsible for facilitating HIV infection.
