Topological photonics explores photonic systems that exhibit robustness against defects and disorder, enabled by protection from underlying topological phases. These phases are typically realized in linear optical systems and characterized by their intrinsic photonic band structures. Here we experimentally study Floquet Chern insulators in periodically driven nonlinear photonic crystals, where the topological phase is controlled by the polarization and the frequency of the driving field.

Introduction: Non-transient erythema (NTE) is a major feature of rosacea, but its clinical evaluation is subject to human investigator variability. The angiopoietin-TIE2 receptor tyrosine kinase pathway plays a key role in regulating vascular homeostasis, but was previously overlooked as a target for rosacea therapy. Angiopausin® is a patented plant-based ingredient identified through a molecular phytotherapy screening program as a positive inducer of the angiopoietin-TIE2 pathway, which is the "gatekeeper of vascular quiescence.

Unlabelled: Ongoing viral evolution in immunocompromised individuals with persistent infection may facilitate the evolution of SARS-CoV-2 and emergence of variants of concern (VOC). This study was conducted in the Western Cape Province of South Africa where the HIV prevalence is around 8%, with limited information on the frequency of persistent SARS-CoV-2 infection, the pattern of evolution in these individuals, and if these variants contribute to the diversity of circulating viruses. This study investigated 75 individuals with two or more SARS-CoV-2 diagnoses at least one month apart.
