To meet the demand for sustainable pavement infrastructure, reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) has become a key strategy to enhance material circularity. This study investigates the coupled mobilization and blending behaviors between virgin and aged asphalt mastic in RAP systems. Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) was utilized to quantify the mobilization rate (MR) of aged mastic on RAP aggregate surfaces using the Composite Aging Index (CAI). Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Fluorescence Microscopy (FM), combined with digital image analysis, were employed to assess the blending interface and quantify the degree of blending (DoB). A 3D model was developed to describe the nonlinear relationship between MR and DoB. The results show that regeneration is dominated by physical diffusion, while mixing temperature has a stronger effect on MR than time. The binder interface displays a smooth transition, whereas the mastic interface exhibits a gear-like structure. DoB in the binder system is higher than that in the mastic system under the same condition, with early-stage temperature elevation playing a key role. Even near 100%, MR does not lead to full blending due to interfacial saturation. These insights are valuable for guiding the design of RAP and optimizing mixing conditions to enhance recycling efficiency in practical applications.

Background: Interventions aimed to increase healthcare provider empathy and capacity to deliver person-centered care have been shown to improve healthcare seeking and outcomes. In the context of self-injectable contraception, empathetic counseling and coaching may be promising approaches for addressing "fear of the needle" among clients interested in using subcutaneous depot medroxyprogesterone (DMPA-SC). In Nigeria, the Delivering Innovation in Self-Care (DISC) project developed and evaluated an empathy-based in-service training and supportive supervision intervention for public sector family (FP) planning providers implemented in conjunction with community-based mobilization.

GPCRs are known for their versatile signaling roles at the plasma membrane; however, recent studies have revealed that these receptors also function within various intracellular compartments, such as endosomes, the Golgi apparatus, and the endoplasmic reticulum. This spatially distinct signaling, termed location bias, allows GPCRs to initiate unique signaling cascades and influence cellular processes-including cAMP production, calcium mobilization, and protein phosphorylation-in a compartment-specific manner. By mapping the impact of GPCR signaling from these subcellular locations, this chapter emphasizes the mechanisms underlying signaling from intracellular receptor pools in diversifying receptor functionality.

The purpose of this article is to explore the implementation of ecological resilience interventions through a four-dimensional framework comprising family system integration, school collaboration, community resource mobilization, and healthcare coordination to enhance adolescent post-discharge outcomes. This newly proposed integrated approach recognizes resilience emerges from dynamic interactions between individual characteristics and environmental supports across multiple ecological levels.
