Existing studies have shown that placing 3D-printed lattices in cement matrices can effectively improve the ductility of cement-based composites. However, the influence of thermal fatigue effect on the mechanical properties of 3D-printed lattice-reinforced cement-based composites during service remains to be studied. In this paper, cement-based materials without lattices were used as the control group, and the uniaxial compressive mechanical properties of 3D-printed lattice-reinforced cement-based composites after thermal fatigue treatment under a temperature difference of 60 °C were tested. The number of thermal fatigue cycles was set to 45, 90, and 145 times, respectively. During the test, two non-destructive testing technologies, AE and DIC, were used to analyze the strength degradation and deformation law of 3D-printed lattice-reinforced cement-based composites with the increase in cycles. AE adopted the threshold triggering mode, and the channel threshold was 100 mv. The experiment showed that the compressive strength of the control group after 45, 90, and 145 thermal cycles decreased to 72.47% and 49.44% of that of the specimen after 45 thermal cycles, respectively. The strength of RO lattices decreased to 91.07% and 82.14% of that of the specimen after 45 thermal cycles, respectively, while the strength of SO lattices decreased to 83.27% and 77.96% of that of the specimen after 45 thermal cycles, respectively. The compressive strengths of the two types of lattices were higher than that of the control group after three cycles, indicating that 3D-printed lattices can effectively mitigate the influence of environmental thermal fatigue on the mechanical properties of cement-based materials.

Li-metal batteries promise ultrahigh energy density, but their application is limited by Li-dendrite growth. Theoretically, fluorine-containing anions such as bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (FSI) in electrolytes can be reduced to form LiF-rich solid-electrolyte interphases (SEIs) with high Young's modulus and ionic conductivity that can suppress dendrites. However, the anions migrate toward the cathode during the charging process, accompanied by a decrease in the concentration of interfacial anions near the anode surface.

1,3-Dioleoyl-2-palmitoylglycerol (OPO) is crucial for infant nutrition; however, conventional immobilized lipase requires high-purity enzymes, which increases costs and limits industrial scalability. Herein, Rhizomucor miehei lipase (RML) was immobilized on surface-modified magnetic nanoparticles using cross-linked enzyme aggregates (CLEAs) technology to produce FeO@SiO@TPOAC@RML CLEAs. This approach combines the separation and immobilization of enzymes, allowing for the use of lower-purity lipase, which enhances its suitability for industrial-scale processes.

Escalating concentrations of norfloxacin (NFX) in surface and wastewaters demand sustainable remediation strategies. In this study, dual-functional hydrochars were synthesized from argan nut shells (ArNS) via hydrothermal carbonization (HTC), with process conditions optimized by varying temperature (150-200 °C) and residence time (2-6 h). Among the materials, H1:5@150-4-prepared at 150 °C for 4 h with a biomass-to-water ratio of 1:5-exhibited the best performance, achieving a monolayer NFX adsorption capacity of 27.

Encapsulation of non-noble bimetallic nanoparticles within a zeolite framework can improve the stability and accessibility of active sites, but the single microporous structure and poor metal stability decreased the catalytic performance of the catalyst. Here, 3D hierarchical ZSM-5 zeolite encapsulated NiCo nanoparticles (NiCo@3DHZ5) were synthesized by Bottom-up confined steam-assisted crystallization (SAC) one-pot hydrothermal method and applied to the hydrodeoxygenation of vanillin. A series of characterizations showed that highly stable alloyed NiCo nanoparticles were encapsulated in a framework of 3DHZ5, the strong metal-zeolite interactions resulted in highly dispersed NiCo nano-alloys facilitated hydrogen adsorption and spillover of active hydrogen atoms, and the 3D hierarchical structure promoted oxygenated substrate diffusion, the synergy interaction between the alloy particles confined in the 3DHZ5 pores and the acidic sites on the zeolite surface promoted the selective conversion of vanillin.

Photoreforming of biomass presents a promising approach for sustainable H production by utilizing renewable solar energy under ambient conditions. However, its application is often limited by the poor solubility of biomass-derived substrates. Herein, this challenge is addressed by synthesizing hydrophilic, electron-rich pyridine-based glycopolymers via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization, followed by deacetylation of glucose- and maltose-based segments.
