Background And Purpose: To review the existing evidence on multiple timepoint assessments of optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) as an indicator of intraindividual variation of intracranial pressure (ICP).
Methods: A systematic search identified studies assessing intraindividual variation in ICP through multiple timepoint measurements of ONSD using ultrasonography. Meta-analysis of studies assessing intraindividual correlation coefficients between ONSD and ICP was performed using a random effects model, and we calculated the weighted correlation coefficient for the expected change in ICP associated with variations in ONSD.

Background: Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a leading cause of respiratory infections in infants and young children. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly disrupted global RSV epidemiology. This study aimed to investigate the impact of the pandemic on RSV epidemiology in northern Taiwan from 2018 to 2023.

Introduction: Craniopagus is one of the rarest congenital abnormalities. Separation of craniopagus twin is associated with high morbidity and mortality, especially in total type, where the twin had shared dural venous sinuses. One of the complications after separation surgery is hydrocephalus.

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) opens a window on observing spontaneous activities of the human brain in vivo. However, the high complexity of fMRI signals makes brain functional representations intractable. Here, we introduce a state decomposition method to reduce this complexity and decipher individual brain functions at multiple levels.

Background: Late-life depression (LLD) is associated with negative outcomes including high rates of recurrence and cognitive decline. However, the neurobiological changes influencing such outcomes in LLD are not well understood. Disequilibrium in large-scale brain networks may contribute to LLD-related cognitive decline.
